Sammi Cheng Sau Man starred in the Ann Hui On Wa produced, Heiward Mak Hei Yan directed and written film FAGARA IN MARA (FA JIU JI MEI), based on Amy Cheung Siu Han's work MY SPICY LOVE. Other actors included Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai), Kenny Bee (Chung Chun To), Megan Lai Ya-Yen, Cherry Li Xiaofeng and others. The film's backbone would be the father daughter relationship and examined the fate of 3 daughters. Sammi and Chung Chun To played daughter and father, while Lai Ya-Yen and Li Xiaofeng played her half sisters.

Sammi after MARRY A RICH MAN (GA GOR YAU CHIN YUN) worked with Yam Yin Chai after 16 years. Yam Yin Chai joked that Yang Guo and Xiaolongnu did not meet again for 16 years, thus he jokingly called Sammi "Goo Goo". In the film they would have romantic scenes but Yam Yin Chai said that he did not know how intimate they would get. He praised how sharp Sammi's acting has become. This time Sammi's costume was very dramatic, on the set he almost did not recognize her and even asked where Sammi was all over. Sammi revealed that Yam Yin Chai gained 30 pounds for the role and joked, "No time no longer, you are fatter and prettier!" Yam Yin Chai joked that even the wrinkles on his face expanded.

Nick Cheung Ka Fai's third directed and starred film THE TROUGH (DAI NGAK CHO) will open on May 3rd. The film would have many car chases, gun fights, combat and explosive stunts. To make everything perfect, Ka Fai did everything himself. He joked that he was the most afraid of listening everyone say, "That doesn't work!" He admitted, "The more impossible it is the more I want it, I am a jerk like this. This time has many gun fights and action scenes, the production is rather complicated. I even have to trigger the reaction bullets myself. Pressing shots on me is pretty intense, because I am afraid that I wouldn't perform well."

Ka Fai revealed that a car chase scene had a road block so the team could thoroughly race, flip and lose a tail. He pointed out that this scene used many vehicles. Everyday after a shoot repair and parts replacement were done. If repair failed then a new car would take its place. He spared no expense for the highest quality car chase.

Tin Kai Man earlier appeared on a Radio Hong Kong program and stated that he has been waiting for "Sing Yeh" to tell him to "take his mark" on a film production.

Tin Kai Man revealed that he is working hard on coming up with great ideas for Stephen Chow Sing Chi. "I have to put in a lot of effort, otherwise that he would abandon them. He is very demanding even when he is at play." Mid April will be the Hong Kong Film Awards, as the Hong Kong Film Award Association director Tin Kai Man pointed out that every year he would invite Sing Yeh, but he has been too busy. This year's preparation period also ran into Sing Yeh at work. As for MERMAID 2 it will have to wait until June to wrap up production. Tin Kai Man said that he has always been waiting for Sing Yeh to tell him to "take his mark", but so far he still has not heard from him. "However some crew members have already contacted me and I probably would have a part. I too would like to participate. We have worked together closely for 13 years, he is a close friend of mine but I don't know if I am lucky enough to be his. He is like a teacher and a friend to me. We never built our friendship on profit."

To Tin Kai Man, show business is not just a job but a dream. "I stay (in show business) for 30 years already, lately I have been nominated for the Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers' presidency. I was both pleased and worried. Because this organization would take a lot of time, I would have less than to be with my wife." Speaking of his wife, Tin Kai Man stated that he owed her too much. He hoped to make up for it in the future, he also pointed out that although he was not a perfect husband his heart was working toward that goal.

Yesterday was the 15th anniversary of superstar Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing's passing. Although Gor Gor has left us for so many years, his fans have never forgotten him. Fans around the world, including Japan, Malaysia, the U.S. and the Mainland, went to present flowers and floral arrangements outside the Mandarin Oriental Hotel at Central to remember their idol. Over 300 "Gor" fans attended the candlelight vigil, which the fan organization Leslie Legacy announced would not be held next year. However they said that "love never ends".

Fresh flowers filled the sidewalk outside the hotel as countless fans arrived to remember their idol. Many even took photos. The giant high heel made from red roses was the most eye catching. Red origami crane, musical note, hearts, "Leslie" and the number "15" that were made from fresh flowers were also present.

This year's new addition was a vehicle with a giant television screens that kept showing Gor Gor's concert and interview videos. Fans could even write messages on the vehicle windows. After visiting fans could receive a magnet and postcard with a "Gor Gor" golden quote.

Around 6PM, around 300 fans went to the park across the street from the Mandarin Oriental Hotel for the candlelight vigil. Some parents even brought their children. At the center of the stage was a giant poster of Gor Gor in a white suit, as well as some floral arrangements and fan made origami cranes. Before the ceremony began, Gor Gor's songs played nonstop. Fans carried white candles and sang to remember Gor Gor.

After the event began, Leslie Legacy representative Ms. Chan announced that next year no memorial event would be held. "15 years went by quickly. The fan organization Leslie Legacy has already held different events to relive Leslie's singing and charm, understand and appreciate the world thorugh Leslie. After 15 years, we hope to start over. Starting next year, Leslie Legacy will no longer hold a candlelight vigil to remember Leslie; but love never ends. We would still remember Leslie's spirit, every highlight, his perfectionism, and his sincerity, kindness and beauty, all of which are the directions in our hearts." Then Terence Lam (Hon Yeung) thanked loyal Leslie fans who have selflessly contributed in the past 15 years and then sang GOR GOR, the song that he wrote. Around 6:43 PM, all the fans present lit their candles for a moment of silence. A female fan wept and needed comforting from friends. After the moment, the event played a clip from Gor Gor. "Thank you all, I hope you would always remember me." Then Gor Gor's song WIND STARTS AGAIN was played as all of the fans sang along. After the event, Leslie Legacy representative Ms. Chan was asked why the candlelight vigil would not take place next year. She sad that because it already has been 15 years, it was a good spot to start over for everyone to have the time, opportunity and space to remember privately. She also said that over 15 years Gor Gor has already been deeply embedded into people's hearts. All Chinese communities know Cheung Kwok Wing. They have already done what they could do, which was the perfect time to give personal space and place to remember him. Gor Gor fans of course would continue to remember him privately. She also said that Leslie Legacy had no membership, so everyone could attend any of its events.

"Gor Gor's" manager Chan Suk Fun prepared fresh flowers, fruit, "Gor Gor's" favorite food and other offerings, went to Po Fook Hill with her son Ka Ho, friend Alan Lin Yim Fai, Roman Tam (Law Man)'s sister and a group of "Gor" fans to send their blessing to "Gor Gor".

This year with the Easter holiday and proximity to the Ching Ming Festival, Po Fook Hill had road blocks and crowd control in place. Mrs. Chan and friends arrived early at Po Fook Hill. Hundreds of "Gor" fans already lined up outside around 6 AM in preparation for sending their well wishes to "Gor Gor". Several hundred "Gor" fans came from the Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia and other places, presented fresh flowers, cards and origami cranes and turned Po Fook Hill into a sea of flowers. Earlier a the "2017 Baidu shout out popularity chart" received enthusiastic support from "Gor" fans as "Gor Gor" came in second place. Mrs. Chan brought the prize to Po Fook Hill and represented the fans to present to "Gor Gor". "15 years have passed, we haven't forgotten about him. We all 'continue to love Cheung Kwok Wing'."

Japanese "Gor" fans as they have on past "Gor Gor" birthdays and anniversaries would make origami cranes for "Gor Gor". For the 15th anniversary of his passing, Japanese "Gor" fans folded 912 shining silver origami cranes to represent "Gor Gor's" everlasting brilliance. Yesterday they personally brought the cranes to Po Fook Hill to present to "Gor Gor". They even sentimentally said to "Gor Gor". "Our dearest Leslie, on the 15th spring, we made for you a new crane. It was made from 912 origami crane, its theme was 'everlasting brilliance'. You and your glory will shine on forever; your smile and pure soul will always be brilliant. Leslie, we will always love you, always praise you."

Ling Man Lung has already two Hong Kong Film Award nominations for his film debut

Teresa Mo Shun Kwan and new comer Ling Man Lung in the film TOMORROW IS ANOTHER DAY (WONG GUM FA) played mother and son. In the film Sister Mo played Mrs. Wong, who has to take care of her autistic and mid level intellectual disabled son. She even faces a cheating husband as the family that she works so hard to hold together becomes shattered in an instant. At a lost, Mrs. Wong even comes up with a revenge plan to kill the mistress!

Recommending Ling Man Lung from the stage to the silver screen, Sister Mo brings up how she discovered "her son". She said that his portrayal of the 16 year old son in the play THE SIN FAMILY caught her eye as she felt that he was very energetic, clean cut and handsome. However experience told Sister Mo that what she saw on stage could not be considered accurate. "Often when you see from afar on the stage (the actor) is very handsome, but up close......after the show I deliberately try to get a closer look off stage. After one glimpse I really want to work with this young man. So I recommend him to people I work with several time. Finally we work together on TOMORROW." She revealed that at first the team wanted to use a known actor because the audience would know him without promotion. They were also afraid that the new comer's acting would have a hard time with such a difficult character, but she disagreed. Instead she thought that an actor playing an autistic character would already give the audience an impression, thus she thought of Man Lung right away and recommended him to the director. The director immediately went online for his information and felt something was off. "The guy is 30, wouldn't he be a little old?" Sister Mo then said to the director that "her son" could even bring to live a 16 year old character. After the audition the director told her, "With looks and acting", which made her very happy.

From working on the film together to promoting, they have already cultivated mother and son relationship. On and off screen they would call each other mother and son. For his film debut Man Lung said that he asked "Mama" for advice about acting, thanked her for her care and putting him at ease. As for Man Lung's Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor and Best New Performer nominations with his first film, Sister Mo said that she had a good eye. Although Sister Mo recommended him, Man Lung has never played this type of special need character and had to put into hard work. Before the shoot he did his research fully and observed in person to help with getting into character. "I try to get into the character on the streets. When I was waiting to cross the street, people around me truly took a few steps back. At the time I really was very hurt."

As for which scene was the most memorable, Sister Mo recalled the scene in which her "son" rammed his head against the wall. "At the time I used all my might to hold on to him. Although I knew that the scene would be done that way before hand, but we really threw ourselves into the performance. The scene finally took two or three takes. The next day I felt like I just finished a wrestling match, I was aching all over."

Director Adam Wong Sau Ping two nights ago attended the 42nd Hong Kong International Film Festival award ceremony. As a member of the "international short film" competition jury, he said that many short film contestants came from Europe and the short films had very different style from Hong Kong. More were experimental while Hong Kong's would tell the story traditionally. He said, "No Hong Kong short film qualified, but after watching them I didn't feel any quality difference from Hong Kong. The difference was in style. I felt that Hong Kong short film in the past decade or so developed very well."

As for THE WAY WE DANCE 3 (KONG MO PAI 3), Wong Sau Ping said that he planned to start production this summer. He has talked with individual actors to prepare for the production. The cast would be a mix of new and old. He said, "Babyjohn and (Cherry) Ngan Cheuk Ling would return, their characters would be very attractive. Some actors from the first films would have major roles this time."

Director Andrew Lau Wai Keung yesterday celebrated his 58th birthday. Guests included Dior Cheng Yi Kn, Shu Qi, Janice Man Wing Shan, Nina Paw Hee Ching and her husband Fong Ping, Jessica Hester Hsuan (Suen Huen), Candy Yu On On, Hanjin Tan (Chan Woon Yan), Elena Kong Mei Yee, Ting Yu, Wong Jing, Venus Wong Man Yik, Yu Dong, Jacqulin Chong Sze Man, Alex Law Kai Yui, Mabel Cheung Yuen Ting, Alex Fong Chung Shun and wife Mok Ho Yan. Lau Wai Keung admitted that his wife objected to alcohol as gifts. Many gave wine and pretty bowls. The most memorable for him was over a decade ago a male friend gave him a speed boat!

Director Lau Wai Keung entered the venue with his wife then spoke to the media alone. "I invited friends I have invited in the past years. Everyone is using it as an excuse to get together. My birthday wish is good health for everyone. I will keep working hard, but I am not at liberty to discuss my work goals." Currently he is busy with the post production work on his new film WHEN ROBBERS MEET THE MONSTERS (MO LUM GWAI SAU). The voice work is already done. Originally it was planned for a summer release, in the end it was postponed in order to make its post production the best. For now no release date has been set. Although he was busy with work he still would go to the sea on weekends and holidays to relax a little.

"Every year I would walk home, but some friends would refuse to leave. They would come to my home to keep drinking. This birthday many people gave wine and pretty bowls. My wife objects to giving alcohol the most, as she doesn't want me to drink too much. (What is your wife's gift?) I ask her not to because I already gave my everything." Lau Wai Keung's most memorable gift was over a decade ago when a male friend gave him a speed boat that was worth six figures. Was the person Ekin Cheng? Lau said, "He isn't that generous! At the time I still haven't had my boating license. That time made me force myself to get a boating license."

Speaking of the passing of Mandarin film actor Kelly Lai Chen, Lau Wai Keung said, "I have a very deep impression of Lui Chun. We worked together on YOUNG AND DANGEROUS 2, which shot on location in Taiwan. He was a top Shaw star, I was very honored to be able to get him for the film. I thought he was very tall and had quite a star presence. Later I would occasionally run into him at dinners. I heard he was very healthy and often played mahjong."

Shu Qi came without make up and was surprised to see reporters. When she got out she only said, "I am not wearing make up", stopped for photos and rushed inside.

Janice Man brought wine for the birthday boy. "Buying gifts for men is more of a headache. Girls are easier. I am not much of a drinker, I would only drink a little at joyous occasions." JM also revealed that she was packed to shoot a modern series about jewelry in Shanghai and overseas. She planned to work for three to four months. She said, "I will get to eat well. In the series I play a jewelry designer. I really like earrings, but what I am wearing today are just costume jewelry."

Did she congratulate her former boss Leon Lai Ming on becoming a father? She said, "I already sent him a text to congratulate him. (Did you ask if it is a boy or a girl?) Of course not, I am not nosy."

Kelly Lai and Angela Mao has one daughter

Rose to fame in the 50s and 60s with his "Sorrowful young actor" image, Kelly Lai (Lui Chun) passed away two nights ago at age 84. Lui Chun was late star Betty Loh Ti's brother. With his handsome yet blue appearance he won over many young female fans. In 1971 he retreated behind the scenes and retired in the early 90s. In 1996 he guest starred in YOUNG AND DANGEROUS 2 as a Taiwan Triad boss; in 2000 he played So Lai Chun (Maggie Cheung Man Yuk)'s boss Mr. Ho in IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE (FA YEUNG NIN WA) and was as handsome as ever. Helen Ma has known Lui Chun for years and said that Lui Chun passed away in Hong Kong two nights ago peacefully. The Lui Chun she knew was Mr. Nice Guy and handsome. Late in life he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. YOUNG AND DANGEROUS director Andrew Lau Wai Keung also praised Lui Chun for his star presence.

After the news of Lui Chun's passing spread, many eulogized him online. Screenwriter Lam Yik Wa on facbook revealed the news of Lui Chun's passing. Lui Chun settled in Hong Kong. Helen Ma yesterday said that Lui Chun passed away two nights ago at 11PM. She heard that he passed peacefully, she did not know much about the details. For now she was not at liberty to call Lui Chun's daughter. In the past year she saw Lui Chun less. Earlier he was very healthy, spending time with his grandchildren and dog. Lui Chun gave her the impression of more than a nice guy, very handsome and quiet. Later he opened up much more. 10 years ago when his daughter wed he was very happy.

When Lau Wai Keung made YOUNG AND DANGEROUS 2, he asked Wong Tin Lam to make a connection to invite Lui Chun to perform. His impression was Lui Chun was very memorable. He was a top star, tall and handsome, being able to invite him to make a movie was his honor. He had quite a star presence. Later he would occasionally run into him. He heard that he was very healthy and often played mahjong.

Lui Chun was originally named Hsi Chung Kim. Born in Shanghai in 1933, his parents passed when he was little. His parents had 6 children, Lui Chun was third. Loh Ti was the youngest sister. Lui Chun in 1955 was accepted into the Motion Picture and General Investment Co. Ltd. actor training class for show business training. His first film was GREEN HILLS AND JADE VALLEYS. His handsome appearance and gentle demeanor made him the lead actor in GOLDEN LOTUS in 1957 with Linda Lin Dai. He played a faithful rich kid. The film was a hit and rocketed him to stardom. He was second only to Peter Chen Ho and Chang Yang in the company. Later he worked with stars like Lucilla You Min and Grace Chang (Kot Lan). His films included AIR HOSTESS, LADY ON THE ROOF, FOREVER YOURS, THE GREATEST CIVIL WAR ON EARTH, IT'S ALWAYS SPRING, and THE IMPERIAL LADY. Aside from often playing rich kids, he also tried to play villains.

At the end of 1967, Lui Chun and Loh Ti formed the Golden Eagle film company with others. His second brother Hsi Chung-Hin was an assistant director. Unfortunately the company closed after two years and 7 wuxia films. In 1971 Lui Chun retreated behind the scene and operated a film printing company with friends for 21 years. Later he retired. In 1996 and 2000 at Wong Tin Lam and Wong Kar Wai's invitation respectively he guest starred in YOUNG AND DANGEROUS 2 and IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE.

Although Lui Chun was linked to his co-stars on occasion, his love went to former martial art star Angela Mao Ying. They wed in 1974 and in 1976 their daughter Hsi Pui Sze was born.

Some said that due to their time apart and personality differences, their marriage only lasted 6 years. In 1980 they divorced and Lui Chun raised their daughter; Mao Ying later remarried and immigrated to the U.S. Hsi Pui Sze wed in 2008 and Mao Ying returned to Hong Kong for the wedding banquet. At the time Lui Chun revealed that his retired life was simple. He did not enjoy going out, mostly watched television and newspaper at home.

Nina Paw Hee Ching, Alex Fong Chung Shun, Carlos Chan Ka Lok and Kelly Chen Ka Lei were busy with their new film YUT CUP JI HUNG (CLASS ONE ACCUSATION), which shot on location earlier in Sham Shui Po. In the story Sister Bau's grandson was accused of murder. She pleaded for lawyers Fong Chung Shun and Chen Ka Lok for help. The crew covered the exits with black cloth to avoid exposure. After a hour the shoot was completed and Sister Paw left. Reportedly great actors Fong Chung Shun, Liu Kai Chi, Patrick Tam Yiu Man and others would have many court tag of war scenes. No wonder Fong Chung Shun admitted that the long professional lines "got" him, as preparation took twice as long.

Fong Chung Shun said that he was the happiest about working with "god mother" Sister Bau for the first time. "We have known each other for 30 years, finally we have a chance to work together. (What is the difference between on and off screen Sister Bau?) None, she is just as kind and easy going." Because his Emperor web drama still has not wrapped up production, he was severely shorted on rest from commuting. "However I heard how fun the team would be, of course I took it."

Chan Ka Lok said that everyday at work was like going to the movies. "Sister Bau really is a great actress. She was just happily chatting wit us, then she turned around, took her mark and was able to cry uncontrollably. Movies have editing, I sat there and watched the unedited performance. I absolutely learned something."

Chen Ka Lei and boyfriend Justin Cheung Kin Sing also starred in the film, but they haven't shared a scene yet. Instead her boyfriend played a villain who put a hit on her. Ka Lei said, "This time I really have a lot of running scene. Earlier I shot a few and got bruised because I was careless. (Would you mind acting with your boyfriend?) No, at first I admire how he is fully into movies. We can keep work and personal life separate."

Emperor Motion Picture OPERATION RED SEA continued its momnetum as its Hong Kong box office approached HK$ 10 million. Director Dante Lam Chiu Yin yesterday attended an audience appreciation event in Mongkok. Speaking of the Mainland box office of 3.63 billion yuan RMB, Director Lam said, "In the Mainland it will at last run until the 15th. Earlier Hollywood films knocked it down and the scheduling also reduced, but we climbed back up again. Everyday it makes 5 or 6 million (RMB), I personally hope it would make over 3.65 billion at the end."

Earlier Lam Chiu Yin visited Malaysia to scout location his new Emperor film GUNG GUP GAU WOON (EMERGENCY RESCUE). "I just got back from scouting location in Malaysia. Later I will go to Belgium, Malta, and Mexico, then to the U.S. because my daughter is graduating."

"Mexico has built a giant studio by the sea, Belgium has a 36 meters deep artificial sea. Actors before had to accept swimming training. Lead actor (Eddie) Peng Yu-Yan was gagging from just hearing about it. His pecs are so great, his lungs should have some capacity. At least he could go several minutes without breathing."

Director Lam admitted that because setting construction and actor training required time, the production start had to be postponed from August to the end of the year. Aside from Peng Yu-Yan, other characters have not been set but romantic scenes would be added. However because the shoot would take at least 5 months, he would not eliminate that many new faces would be used like for RED. Lam Chiu Yin said, "The production cost would be around 500 million. This crew would be American professionals. (Peter Pau) Bau Tak Fun would just the team, so the production cost would definitely be expensive."

Opening soon in early May, the film THE TROUGH (DAI GAT CHO) would be Nick Cheung Ka Fai's third film as a director. After two supernatural subject films with his debut HUNGRY GHOST RITUAL and KEEPER OF DARKNESS, this time he changed his style and made his preference of crime action film. The production budget also rose to HK$ 120 million. The entire film took two years to make. As the director Ka Fai revealed that actors turned him down, even though he personally flew to talk about the film with the actors with full sincerity. He even admitted that when he was turned down he would always be disappointed.

Ka Fa admitted that a big production would definitely be stressful. Because when he decided to do something, had investors' appreciation for him and he wanted to do his best, the film had its share of action and gun fight scenes. He even spent most of the money on computer generated effects to created an "isolated city" to expand a solid story, and the character personalities were cut clear. Making an over HK$ 100 million production, Ka Fai admitted that he ran into a lot of difficulties and hardship. Particularly fatal was his dislike for getting help from others. "However the production cost wouldn't scare me, if I would be then I would lose the advantage! This time was like a child with an all access pass at the carnival, I also had to thank producer (Claudie) Chung Chun for indulging me. Whatever I was displeased with, it would be wiped away and start over again until I was satisfied." Ka Fai said that he also "went overboard" a little, for example a kitchen gun fight and a meat freezer scene he spent a lot of money to achieve the results.

On the other hand with "solid" actors like Paul Chun Pui, Michael Miu Kiu Wai, Maggie Cheung Ho Yi and Louis Cheung Kai Chung, Ka Fai thanked everyone for their trust. On the set everyone was very accommodating. Because what he had in mind was very hard to describe with words, he relied on on set communication and everyone's flexibility to accommodate his needs. Would he change their usual performance method? Ka Fai said, "I am the dictator! Because with the characters that were written in the script I would hide in a corner and mumble to myself to perform them once, I hope to be able to take care of every actor's performance. No matter the size of the role, it had to have character's personality and a definition for each actor."

Ka Fai pointed out that the script alone took a year, the entire film took two years to make. Did he lose over HK$ 100 million in film salary from not acting? He said, "Don't talk about that, actually with bosses and directors I turned down before I hope they wouldn't mind. Actually others turned me down too. I would understand that maybe they couldn't due to scheduling or personal reasons, after several times I was able to adjust. Of course when I was turned down I would always be disappointed, since I did all the traditions of a director. I personally flew to see the actor and talk about the film." Ka Fai was not afraid that after making a big production he would not be able to go back, he knew that his main profession was acting and was still passionate about it. He stated that he had directing has not distracting him from that.

Playing a high ranking police officer, Ho Yi joked that Director Cheung was very tough to take care of. "I am joking. Ka Fai on the set wouldn't yell at anyone, he would only use an effective tone to communicate with others. On top of that we have worked together before and understood that he wanted to do everything himself. He was very innocent and very direct with people. Although sometimes I didn't understand what he was saying, my value is I needed to understand what he was saying. It was the first time that I ran into a director who would get into the character first when asking me how to perform, then let me help him digest it and perform it through my own body. Each time as long as the director accepted the take I would breathe a sigh of relief!" Ka Fai also said that the most take a scene took was 18 takes, and it had nothing to do with Ho Yi. Everyone was able to finish it with mutual trust.

Sammi Cheng Sau Man, Kathy Chow Man Kei, Hilary Tsui Ho Wing, Nicola Yeung Cheung Sun Yui and Ouyang Nana last night attended an fashion event.

Sammi revealed that he recently she has been busy with the Ann Hui On Wa produced film FARAGA IN MARA (FA JIU JI MEI). In a few days she would work with Andy Lau Tak Wa. She said that she has not worked with Wa Jai in a very long time. Last time she guest starred in his film, this time he would lend a hand because Wa Jai told the producer as long as Sammi needed a hand. She was very touched, but did not know how to repay him since Wa Jai had everything already. She heard that Wa Jai loved peanuts, but she could not find ones without butter.

Speaking of her character in the film, Sammi revealed that her character would have two younger half sisters, one from Chongqing and the other Taipei. Mainland actress Li Xiaofeng and Taiwan actress Megan Lai would play them. Because the film would be about family, the story would be very touching. When the producer told it to her she could not help but cry. Two nights ago when they shot a major scene, she released a month worth of penned up emotions. After this scene she felt ten pounds lighter. Sammi said that she made 4 movies in the past 9 months and they would be released one after another. She felt that her film career had a new start as she suddenly had the chance to play many different characters. She wanted to make more while she was able to.

The annual Hong Kong Film Awards is fast approaching, who would Sammi pick for Best Actor? She said, "Yikes, there's Goo Jai (Louis Koo Tin Lok), Wa Jai, I heard (Ronald) Cheng Chung Kei's performance was good too. Luckily I am not on the jury, otherwise I would give them each one vote. However Goo Jai has been nominated many times, if he wins it would be a huge encouragement and recognition. I would understand that very well; Wa Jai is my super buddy, I would be happy if either one wins. However the Wa Jai I know is very generous, he would not mind."
