Tai Chi's keyboard player and famous musician Gary Tong Yik Chung yesterday was found unconscious at home and passed away at age 57 possibly from heart disease. Tai Chi member Joey Tang Kin Ming confirmed the news of Gary's passing. "I just got the news of Gary's passing. It was very sudden, I am still trying to the actual details. I think Gary wouldn't want us to be too heartbroken, because he was an optimistic person. If I have further news I would inform everyone." Tai Chi's lead vocalist Patrick Lui Yau Fai already turned off his phone. Reportedly Patrick could not be more upset upon learning Gary's passing.

Gary Tong in 1986 joined Tai Chi as the keyboardist, produced records and worked as a music director for many artists. In the past he worked many times with the late music superstar "Gor Gor" Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing. At the end last year he, record producer Alvin Leung wing Chun and C.Y. Kong teamed up on the Cheung Kwok Wing record REVISIT.

Tai Chi originally planned to perform two 35th anniversary concerts in West Kowloon Cultural District in December last year, but due to the pandemic the performance was scrapped. With Gary's sudden passing, the "complete" Tai Chi's performance would be impossible.

Remus Choy Yat Kit remembered, "I can't believe Gary Tong is gone! Have a safe journey! RIP! Thank you for helping me with my song arrangement!" Pal Sinn Lap Man also remembered, "You brought us everything, I would never forget, your laughter, your tolerance, you gluttony?! thank you Gary for appearing in my life, have a safe journey! R.I.P.!"

ViuTV's first Chill Club Chart 20/21 award show will take place on April 18th at the Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Center's Star Hall. Yesterday 11 award categories' nominations were announced at the press conference. Attending singer and group included Alfred Hui Ting Hung, Joyce Cheng Yun Yi, Gin Lee, AGA, Vincy Chan (Wing Yi), MIRROR and ERROR. ViuTV turned on the green light for other station TVB. Aside from TVB artist Grace Wong Kwan Hing being nominated for female singer of the year and creative singer, the event even stated that they would welcome the Voice's songs as it felt that being helpful to the Hong Kong entertainment scene would be the most important.

Yesterday ViuTV executive Kam Kwong Shing said that the first music award show's theme was "Music for the Pepole, Music First", hoping to have a live audience but would rely on the pandemic progress. Currently they kept adding additional budget. Would TVB breaking the ice with the big three record companies "thin" their desire to participate in ViuTV awards? Kam Kwong Shing replied, "No, to each its own. Everyone would have different standards, being able to help the entertainment scene is the most important." Speaking of TVB artist Grace Wong Kwan Hing's nomination for female singer of the year and creative singer, Kam Kwong Shing said that the event would not mind inviting her to participate in the award show. It would also welcome the Voice Entertainment sending singers, just like MIRROR and ERROR being invited to TVB programs. When asked whether their own "children" would have an easier time with awards, he said, "Why would that be? One vote per person, we wouldn't play favorites with our own people!"

At the press conference, Emperor sent Vincy Chan as the only singer representative. When asked if the company disrespecting ViuTV? Wing Yi said, "I represent the company too, I am a sincere representative, don't think too much about it!" Wing Yi admitted that she also hoped to be able to win song awards because awards are encouragement. In addition her new song also had good response. Of course she would like to keep the momentum going and win more awards.

Breaking into the business with the TVB program THE VOICE, Alfred Hui Ting Hung earlier was absent from the Eric Tsang Chi Wai organized "Big Three Ice Breaking" press conference. He explained, "Actually they invited me, but I had to fix someone's teeth. The schedule was tight so I couldn't go." Hui Ting Hung would not eliminate the possibility of appearing on TVB again. He looked forward to seeing the crew again, because as long as any platform performed well or had the intention to, he would support it. Joyce Cheng Yun Yi also felt that in the past year she saw many platforms and hoped that they would perform even better for music. With even more platforms to put everyone in touch of music, as a singer she definitely would be happy and "say yes".

Universal Record representative Gin Lee and AGA were confident about winning the female singer award. AGA was very happy to participate in the first ViuTV music award. "Suddenly

MIRROR was nominated for many awards. They said that they would like to win group awards more than individual awards, because they would be happier winning together. With TVB and the major record companies breaking ice, would they like to appear on TVB music programs? MIRROR said that before the contracts would be signed they already really wanted to, as they would like to hear "back to studio 1" the most.

ERROR was missing one member. The trio on their phones showed a black and white photo of Poki Ng, who was entangled in negative news like a triangle relationship and how he treated people. They stated that ERROR would remain a quartet. The trio denied that Po Kei left the group, he was only taking time off for now to start over later.

Lokman Yeung, Cherry Ngan and BabyJohn Choi witness each other from being green to mature.
courtesy of singtao.com

The BabyJohn Choi Hon Yik, Cherry Ngan Cheuk Ling, and Lokman Yeung starred THE WAY WE DANCE (KONG MO PAI) was released in 2013 to commercial and critical success. Its sequel THE WAY WE KEEP DANCING (KONG MO PAI 3) 8 years later finally surfaced. Three actors went from being green to mature, but the price of growing up may be compromising with reality. They all said that they have been lost, but fortunately they were able to find themselves.

Choi Hon Yik, Ngan Cheuk Ling, and Lokman Yeung worked together again on THE WAY WE KEEP DANCING (KONG MO PAI 3). All three said that the others were more mature than before. When they worked together they had even more chemistry. They all said that from THE WAY WE DANCE to THE WAY WE KEEP DANCING, the entire cast and crew all grew up. However in the process inevitably they would be lost at times. BabyJohn said that last year due to the pandemic, the feeling of lost was very heavy. "The pandemic made the entire social atmosphere very confusing. When everyone thought the situation would be a little better, they then would realize that they would have nothing. The entire industry was very dead. Our group of friends would want to make something ourselves, when we did we realized that it would work. So having a group of friends with the same interests is very important." Ngan Cheuk Ling pointed out that her grasp was very tight on her pursuit of art. Even with many big waves rolling around, she would not be easily washed away. The most importan was to believe in herself. Lokman said, "Lost is a very mysterious condition, you have to experience lost to be able to adjust anew. You need to find your own value within, be certain of yourself before you would be able to go over this wave. However the next wave may be on the way, you have to be able to find yourself at any moment."

Yau Hok Sau in the film played a reporter. In the film he asked Ngan Cheuk Ling a question, "Do you want to be famous or able to walk around freely?" In the film she did not respond. In reality did they feel fame and freedom could not co-exist? They agreed that the times were different, stars and viewers both live in the same place. Who said anyone famous could not freely walk around? BabyJohn said, "I feel in this business a culture is slowly building. Stars and viewers both live in the same place. Everyone can co-exist. When someone asks me if they can get a picture, when I am not at work I would usually agree. Sometimes when I am at a restaurant, if you come over and greet me I would even recommend to you what's good there. So you really don't need to take photos in secret, everyone can exist together naturally."

Ngan Cheuk Ling admitted that at the beginning she was not too used to being recognized or secretly photographed, but now she is already much more relaxed. Sometimes she would have some fun with it. "Actually it depends on whether you are used to it or not. At the beginning I wasn't used to it. Suddenly out of the blue someone appeared to take your photos and chat with you, I would feel whether the other person had any goal or intention. Would I need to play the other person's impression of me? Later I learned to relaxed, actually many viewers are very friendly. We can chat. They are able to say my name because they pay attention to my work." The KING MAKER formed group MIRROR's member Lokman perhaps had even more experience. "I am not used to chatting with strangers, sometimes after a word or two I wouldn't know what to say. However the other people would keep talking and I would feel a little awkward. However being recognized and asked for a photo were OK. Sometimes when I run into viewers who are too passionate I would be frightened. Once I was out with friends, someone loudly called my name and smacked my shoulder. Because he really was passionate, I thought I knew him. Even my friends thought we were very close. When they heard I didn't know him they thought it was very funny."

Famous musician and Tai Chi member Gary Tong Yik Chung two days ago passed away at age 57. Those who have worked with Gary like Joey Yung Cho Yi, Vivian Chow Wai Man, Hins Cheung King Hin, Leo Ku Kui Ke, Keeva Mak Ka Yu, Mr.'s guitarist MJ Tam Kit Ming and Ronny Lai Chak Yan remembered Gary on social media. Yung Cho Yi sentimentally wrote, "Wherever Gary was only had good music and a fun time!"

Currently in the Mainland, Yung Cho Yi worked with Gary many times. Two nights ago she posted a video of her dancing with Gary, who was on the keyboard, to he song DANCING STREET at a concert. "Tonight is a little sad." Joey worked with gary many times over 18 years. "I started working wih Gary on the 2003 HEART FADES, Schumann and LEO at the time thought the first version of song arrangement didn't reach the theme and decided to ask Gary for help. Finally this song was not sent for airplay, but became one of the most important work in my life. It came from Gary's romantic and bold song arrangement. We also wrokred together on numerous concerts big and small, touring different countries. No matter which post Gary was in, he was just as relaxed, easy going, talented and low key. Quietly he provided the best music suggestions to us, absolutely would not give any singer, even musician any hard time or pressure. No matter how tense the condition or the performance was, wherever Gary was only had good music and a fun time. Such a great person, his instinct and passion for music was invaluable. I really can't accept such a sudden passing. Gary I would always remember your good, may you have a safe journey."

Hins Cheung King Hin posted a black and white photo of Gary in the studio. "Gary Gor Gor, thank you for the beautiful music you brought. From learning about you in record credits during my student days to finally having the chance to sing songs that you arranged once I got into the business, even sharing the stage and performing with you, I am grateful to have the chance to meet you in my life. Thank you for always making people feel warm and friendly. thank you for your stubbornness and persistence toward music whether on the stage or in the studio. Thank you! Miss you always!"

Gary was the music director for Vivian Chow Wai Man's concerts. Two nights ago Chow Wai Man posted 3 photos on social media, including work photos from the 30th anniversary Hong Kong concert, 1994 Taiwan concert and two years ago Toronto concert. "Dear Gary, miss you forever!" She remembered Gary in the post, "Gary was a gentle and polite musician. In 1994 when my first solo concert took place in Taiwan, he was my music director. In recent years the 30th anniversary concert in Hong Kong and almost every show on the our, he was my band member, and music director for two shows. He accompanied me on this musical journey, which was especially warm. He gave me a lot of strength to complete every show. In mid February, the encouraging words that he sent me, I would always remember them. Thank you Gary!"

Gary was onvce Keeva Mak Ka Yu's manager. Keeva on social media eulogized her mentor. "Thank you very much for your nurturing and encouragement all along. I would always miss you. See you in Heaven, Gary Gor Gor." Irene Wan Bik Ha posted, "I really don't want to believe this, a super musical talent and a super nice guy, Gary I wish you have a safe journey! We will always miss you!" Leo Ku Kui Ke wrote, "Dear Gary R.I.P."

Mr.'s guitarist MJ Tam Kit Ming worked with Gary countless times and sawa him as his teacher. He posted a black and white photo of Gary resting in the studio on social media. "Maybe I won't be able to accept this in my lifetime, this person I feel is the best person in the entire music scene passed away today. Without Gary in the beginning, Mr.'s music wouldn't achieve the success that we once had." He also wrote, "Gary, I really never said to you, in my heart I always thought of you as my teacher. Thank you very much, thank you for everything you have gone for us, for me. You would always and forever be in my heart. Teacher, have a safe journey!"

The entire special page was removed as well, but the internet turned their rage to other Universal Record special pages. Universal Record issued an apology. "Universal Record hereby first apologizes to everyone. We have already solemnly handled this matter, upon learning abou the matter those involved have been severely punished. From now on we would cautiously handle our social media platform content. We express deep regret and sorrrow over Mr. Tong Yik Chung's passing."

As the novel coronavirus pandemic wanes, the Hong Kong film industry is waking up from its "long silence" as recently most films announced their productions. Two nights ago Patrick Tam Yiu Man, Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai) and Eddie Cheung Siu Fai appeared at Central for an all new crime film. Siu Chai's fans even organized and stood afar in support of their idol. In order to keep any story from being spoiled, the crew often reminded pedestrians no photos.

Ah Tam arrived in a vehicle and darted into an alley to begin a chase with Siu Chai. Perhaps because he wanted to concentrate on his character, Siu Chai was rather quiet all night. Ah Tam who just finished a Mainland series with Raymond Lam Fung was obviously slimmer than before. Turning 52 in the middle of the month he successfully "lost age" and appeared to be in decent shpae. Cheung Siu Fai this time would be a guest star in the film. Always serious, he arrived early to prepare, for make up and costume fitting. He was quite professional.

Emperor Motion Picures and One Cool Film worked together for the first time to produce and distribute ten Hong Kong films. The first shot would be the Anselm Chan Mou Yin directed, Carlos Chan Ka Lok, Michelle Wai Sze Nga, Hedwig Tam Sin Yin, Chu Pak Hong, Kaki Sham, Renci Yeung Si Wing starred romantic comedy READY OR KNOT (BUK YUT SING FUN) will open on April 1st for the Easter and Ching Ming Fesival golden slot. Before its release the film received twice the good news: the film caught the eyes of the 2021 Golden Horse Fantastic Film Festival, which selected it for its "Comedy Kaleidoscope" segment to become this year's only Hong Kong film selection; then it was selected for this year's Chicago Asian Pop Up Cinema closing film. The attention and the recognition from international film festival were like a shot of confidence for Ka Lok, Michelle, Ah Tam and others.

As READY OR KNOT received two international film festival's recognition and raves, director Chan Mou Yin was greatly encouraged. "I am very happy! It's really not easy for an authentic Hong Kong romance to break out of Hong Kong! I am very grateful! As the first Hong Kong film to start production during the pandemic, it really is particularly meaningful. I have to very sincerely thank every crew member and actors, who risked life and death wih me. Completely because of their effort would READY OR KNOT be here." He gave special thanks to Boss Yeung and Boss Koo for still being willing to start this production during this diffcult period!

Chan Ka Lok agreed with the director. READY OR KNOT is a small budget film, to be able to break out of Hong Kong and draw attention from different places is quite a honor; he also looked forward to viewers of other places after watching would be able to enthusiastically exchange their views on marriage. "Marriage isn't just something in Hong Kong, every place in the entire world has different cultures. When they see Hong Kong's marital culture, how would they feel? Can they relate? How do hey handle marital problems? This is what I long to know!" Since the film examined Hong Kong romance and marriage cultural, Ka Lok naturally hoped even more for recognition from Hong Kong people.

Upon learning READY OR KNOT's selection for two international film festivals, Michelle's first impression was, "Finally I can answer to the director and the entire team. Because everyone really had a rough time working on it, I especially look forward to the foreign audience relating to it. Ultimately the background of growing up, living environment, language are different, I hope they would be able to get some of the film's funny spots." Praises from Chicago's Asian Pop Up Cinema jury for the film obviously showed that the film has already broken through cultural and language barriers. Michelle smiled and said, "Every good review is the reason for the next viewer to go to the movie. It definitely would inject an even greater shot of confidence for the film!"

Chu Pak Hong praised the film for having something for everyone. Tam Sin Yin reminded Hong Kong viewers to see the movie. Kaki Sham was pleased to have foreign audience recognition. Yeung Si Wing was surprised to receive the good news.

The Adam Wong Sau Ping directed, BabyJohn Choi Hon Yik, Lokman Yeung, Lydia Lau King Man starred film THE WAY WE KEEP DANCING (KONG MO PAI 3) as of two days ago was in release for 16 days and made over HK$ 6.5 million in an ideal performance. Wong Sau Ping rose to fame in 2013 with THE WAY WE DANCE, whch made HK$ 15 million. He did not make too many movies, 8 years later THE WAY WE KEEP DANCING became his fifth. Recently on a radio interview, he said that after making THE WAY WE DANCE, many big productions invited him to direct but he turned them all down. He explained that his condition or subject for making a movie was to have the feeling, the excitement and enough time to get to know it. Once someone said to him, "A subject is very right for you, next week it can start production and shoot on locaiton in Europe." He said that he did not ask about the salary or the cast, because the entire matter did not make sense. How could he make a good movie with such a mentality? He said that maybe some would feel he had no ambition, but he needed to be responsible for his own creation. Some money could not be made.

Lau King Man in THE WAY WE KEEP DANCING played a dance school boss. In real life she too opened a dance school. Yesterday at the opening ceremony Wong Sau Ping, Choi Hon Yik, Lokman and others came to congratulate her. She revealed that she invested 6 figures to be the boss lady, and she would also be the headmaster and the janitor. Starting a business during the pandemic, she saved what she could save and did all the renovation of herself. She said that in the film she did it in advance and got the courage. She realized that children not being able to dance to release their energy had a very tough time, so she decided to give it a try. Wong Sau Ping was happy that he saw someone promoting something good. The energy would return to the city, which made him want to keep making THE WAY WE DANCE movies.

Choi Hon Yik funded his own creative company and hoped to be able to provide an one stop service from creating film screenplay to finding investors. Lokman and his teammates would release their own fashion label business. He wanted to open a physical store after the first bucket of gold. They revealed that Wong Sau Ping was interesting in making THE WAY WE DANCE movies and joked that he should not wait for another 8 years. Choi Hon Yik said, "Waiting for 8 years is pretty good. We all work in different areas, when we get back together again the feeing would be even deeper."

I really have so many memories. Lately I wanted to ask Brother Tat to work together but, but his schedule was full." Kwan Yu got teary eyed as she said numerous times that Brother Tat's passing was sudden. "I didn't know he was sick, so it's very heart breaking and sudden. I never guessed it would be so soon. I didn't attend the viewing. I wanted to save my impression of Brother Tat, everyday I would take of him."

Tang Ying Man and Brother Tat were TVB artist training class classmates. Yesterday he with Poon Sin Kei, Ng Yun Chuen, Yen Mau Keung and others 3rd training class classmates went to pay their respect. Tang Ying Man said that back then he and classmates Ng Man Tat, Chow Yun Fat, To Kei Fung and others were very young. They went skinny dipping in a Tuen Mun beach. Brother Tat also taught him drinking games. He said that he was bold. Normally he would treat them to dinner. Several times after winning several hundred thousand from horseracing, he would again take them to harbor view restaurants. When he was in the abalone business he treated everyone to abalone. Did he have anything he would like to say to Brother Tat? He said, "In 2018 (Ringo) Lam Lan Tung passed, now Brother Tat ascended too. they can meet each other up there. Ah Tung can make movies up there, and brother Tat can keep acting. Later it would be my turn to go."

The over HK$ 300 million film adaptation of DYNASTY WARRIORS (JUN SAM GOK MO SEUNG) is directed by Roy Chow Hin Yeung. Yesterday the film company announced that the film has been confirmed for an April 29th Hong Kong release and an April 30th Mainland release. Also releases were the first official trailer and 10 character posters; the film's giant billboards have already appeared in Mongkok. Based on the video game of the same name, DYNASTY WARRIORS

Earlier photos from DYNASTY leaked out. Yesterday the first all new trailer opened with the New Zealand snowy mountains, under which thousands began a battle. Various heroes fought on the battlefield, as Guan Yu (Han Geng) waved the Green Dragon yanyuedao and slashed at thousands; the heroic trio's battle with Lu Bu (Louis Koo Tin Lok) rocked heaven and earth, Cao Cao (Wang Kai) and Liu Bei (Tony Yang) had a duel atop a mountain with swords in hand; faced with thousands, Lu Bu and Cao Cao on horseback began their slaughter. Lu Bu attacked from the air and had everyone reeling. Later Diaochen (Gulnazar) tightly held Lu Bu as they descended the mountain, Liu Bei traveled swiftly with his bow drawn, Dong Zhuo (Lam Suet) raised his sword and killed his enemies, the visuals had variety and were rich. In addition, the armory master (Carina Lau Ka Ling)'s cold beauty and Yuan Shao (Ray Lui Leung Wai) also were bright spots with their apperaances.

Reportedly, the film from pre-production to production to post-producion took 3 years. The film was shot on location in New Zealand over four seasons, with over 1,500 post-production special effects shots. Actually the film already completed its post production last year, but due to the pandemic its release was delayed over and over.

Veteran actor Ng Man Tat passed away on the 27th last month from liver cancer. Two days ago a wake was held at the Universal Funeral Parlor and the farewell ceremony took place yesterday morning. The coffin then was transported to the Cape Collinson Crematorium. His family also followed Brother Tat's wishes as his ashes would be transported back to Malaysia for burial.

Yesterday Brother Tat's brothers and twin daughters arrived early. His widow Hou Shan Yin and their son Ng Wai Lun arrived around 10:10AM. When reporters rushed up for photos, the mother and son under family and friends' protection lowered their heads and hurried inside. Around 11:45 AM the farewell ceremony was completed. Ng Man Tat's coffin was transported to the hearse from the hall, his son Ng Wai Lun carried his father's photo and stepped onto the hearse. Widow Hou Yin Shan stayed in the hall for awhile before family and friends helped her into a vehicle.

After the hearse arrived at the Cape Collinson Crematorium, Brother Tat's son Wai Lun, daughter Hoi Yan and brother Ng Lei Tat stood next to the coffin and waited for Mommy before entering the hall together. At this time Hou Yin Shan carried a white rose. The entire cremation ceremony took around 20 minutes. When Hou Yin Shan departed the media asked when would Brother Tat's ashes be brought back to Malaysia for burial. She did not respond and left with her son. Brother Tat's brother Ng Lei Tat also said that he was uncertain when his brother's ashes would be buried.

Veteran voice actor Ting Yu and Kwan Hoi Shan's wife yesterday attended the farewell ceremony. Ting Yu said that Brother Tat was great. "Although at first he was very mischievous, when he went to work in the Mainland he still missed Hong Kong very much. He was very respectful to us elders, an invaluable talent in the art scene. We regret his passing very much. I would always miss him." Mrs. Kwan followed, "I was his Si Mo and I would miss him very much as well. Before going to the Mainland for a omvie he still had tea with me. When he got back he told me about how his operation went. His last words are still in my cell phone!"

Sammo Hung Kam Bo, Simon Yam Tat Wa, Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai), Alex Fong Chung Shun, Patrick Tam Yiu Man, Ron Ng Cheuk Hei and others yesterday attended the film BIN YUEN HUNG JEH (EDGE WALKER)'s production start worship ceremony in Yuen Long. Earlier rumored to have health problems, Sammo appeared to be in great spirit. Although he walked with a cane, he was still rather agile. Full of energy he ran to his appearance. His wife Joyce Godenzi also made the rare trip to keep him company.

In recent years Sammo's health condition caught attention. Yesterday he began work with his wife Joyce Godenzi (Go Lai Hung) by his side. He appeared to be in decent shape. He revealed that after the previous Lunar New Year film he has not made a movie in two years. This time would be a gues starring role as he would play a mob boss. Did he ask for ample time to rest during the shoot? He said, "Lately I have been resting everyday, I have been resting for a year or two. I am the happiest about getting to work. I haven't made a Hong Kong film in a very long time. Although it's a guest starring role, when Hong Kong film has work I have to keep working. It's absolutely something to be happy about. Hong Kong people make Hong Kong movies, I don't know when that will stop. Today I heard that the UA cinema circuit closed, maybe later we won't even have film and television. I would have to go back to listen to the radio, everything is retro in Hong Kong! I used to go to the cinemas for audience reaction all the time, now this song no longer exists."

Big Brother Big admitted that he admired film companies for still making movies under the pandemic. He on the other hand would not be able to. Would he take a pay cut to support his colleagues? He joked, "If the governmen asks me then I don't need to. (The government) has a lot of money, with colleagues I can negotiate. (Do you want the government to help the film industry?) No need to say more! Life has no hope, I only hope Hong Kong would still have air that is breathable. Now when I see the people's lives on television my heart aches, I want to help but I can't help much. The only thing I can help with is shedding tears."

Yam Tat Wa in the film played Siu Chai's "boss". In real life Siu Chai also treated him as the "boss". He said, "At first when I came to Hong Kong to make movies Brother Wa took care of me. We have the same last name, with his constant reminders I would get into character very quickly." Siu Chai in the film played a mobster who could be both good and evil, with large emotional swings. Thus he would move away from his family to avoid affecting them. He said, "I get into the character too much, and my emotions would go in and out. When I get home that presence would still remain. Sometimes when the children asked me about their homework my character would appear. Earlier when I made TRIVISA I was constantly mean and nasty, so I might as well move out."

Speaking of his friend Bobby Chan Sing confirmed that he had oral cancer, he said that he consoled him. Siu Chai sentimentally said, "Brother Tat (Ng Man Tat) passed away, some friends have health problems too. I wish everyone would be safe, the most important is health."

Simon Yam Tat Wa revealed that in the film he would traverse between both sides of the law and would have many car chase scenes. The film would also shoot on location in Hong Kong to show a different Hong Kong. The cast had a pleasant time working together, as he with singers and musicians Siu Chai, Danny Chan Kwok Kwan, Patrick Tam Yiu Man and Jerry Lamb Hiu Fung planned to formed a quintet after the completion of the film. . Brother Wa claimed to be a newcomer in music, and could sing and danvce. Siu Chai even had an idea for the music video. Brother Wa volunteered to personally shoot the music video. Some said that Brother Wa was a pandemic "miracle", under the pandemic he still had three movies. He said, "I really like the roast pork at the production start ceremonies, and I get cha siu rice boxes. I would be very happy when I get roast pork, as it represents movies for everyone to make."

Tam Yiu Man and Lamb Hiu Fung both agreed that the film market after the Lunar New Year improved. Tam Yiu Man said, "After the Lunar New Year it was a little better. I hope more people would get to work, make different types of movies and help the film industry thrive. Thus I hope everyone would obey and follow the pandemic prevention rules." Ah Lo chimed in. "Hong Kong film should rise again, just take a look at Tam Yiu Man and Ng Cheuk Hei. They have developed decently in the Mainland but they still came back to make the movie. It will work for sure." Ng Chek Hei admitted that this year he would focus on the Hong Kong market, but for now he still had no plan to return to TVB. Would he work on other series for other stations? He stated that he would work on anything with a good script.

Ah Lo's 17 year old son Lam Bo was rumored to be interested in the business. Ah Lo said, "He is only a guest model for his designer friends. My son sees very clearly, even if he gets into the business would he really have work. Not to mention right now school should come first. However, I hope (Peter) Lam Kin Ngok would support him.
