Chrissie Chau Sau Na and Jason Chan Pak Yu yesterday attended a fashion brand event. Sister Na had to throw 30 punches in 30 seconds, with Pak Yu as the "human sand bag"; Sister Na revealed that earlier when she worked on KICK ASS GIRLS (BAU 3 CHIU GIU WA) she fell in love with the sport of kick boxing. She felt very healthy after getting a good sweat, in addition during the shoot she injured her left heel ligament. The doctor said that it would be very hard to cure, the only way was to rest. Thus kick boxing could train other muscles to support the injured ligament and reduced the pressure to the would. However now her wound be would swollen during storms, so she would bring flats to change into if she knew that she had to be in heels for a long time. Sister Na trained more for the event and her shoulders were sore.

Sister Na in her film HUSBAND KILLERS (NUI JI FOOK SAU) yelled at Stephy Tang Lai Yun with foul language. She said, "I rarely get to use foul language out in the open. I rarely use it. Since everyone don't hear me use it a lot, when I did in the movies people on the set would laugh. I hear a lot of it on the set, which made it very pleasure and very familiar. However I am too natural or smooth with it. I would only use it at home when I get mad, I rarely use it with other people."

After 30 years in the business, Philip Keung Ho Man with the film TRIVISA (SHU DAI JIU FUNG) received his first Hong Kong Film Award Best Supporting Actor nomination. Yesterday he said on the radio that he felt happy and honored. "On the day of the announcement, when I found out I got one I screamed. I scared my wife, but she immediately opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate with me." Hak Jai said that he would like to win but the other nominees were very strong as well. He would be happier for others if someone else won. He said, "My friends and people online really treat me well, they feel tense for me. I was already very happy to see the online comments, it's like a victory for me already!"

Speaking of his co-stars Gordon Lam Ka Tung and Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai)'s Best Actor nominations, Hak Jai said that they were only missing Jordan Chan Siu Chun and picked Ka Tung to have a better chance. "He always sat at a corner to prepare for the performance and gave me a lot of suggestions. We are very similar. We started on television, then we rose and fell. If he won it would be great!"

Nancy Wu Ting Yan, Ava Liu (Yu Kiu), Bianca Wu Lam, Cindy Chan Sin Yeung yesterday attended a skin care product event. Yu Kiu would soon have a chance to work with Dayo Wong Tze Wah on a movie. She was very excited, "Earlier I saw Tze Wah at an event. At the time he was taking a photo with (Charmaine) Sheh Sze Man, (Shiga) Lin Sze Nga, I edited the photo so it was only my and his heads and posted it online. That was my most nervous time, so I probably wouldn't have any problem with Wong Tze Wah."

The Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers spring banquet took place last night. Guests included Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai), Eric Tsang Chi Wai, Shawn Yue Man Lok, Elaine Jin (Kam Yin Ling), Francis Ng Chun Yu, Philip Keung Ho Man, Gordon Lam Ka Tung, Grace Wong Kwan Hing and Alex Fong Lik Sun.

Chi Wai was asked about the death of May Ng Yuen Fong's husband Wilson Woo Ka Wah. He said that when he left he got a call from Alan Tam Wing Lun to ask if the news was real or not. Chi Wai only found out from the news. He said, "I am already very sadden, I haven't dared to call Ng Yuen Fong yet!" Speaking of his relationship with Woo Ka Wah, Chi Wai said that he has known him for over 30 years and felt that he was a super nice guy. He recalled that Woo Ka Wah although was not an artist still took part in founding the star soccer team, as he went overseas to play with Ng Yuen Fong and Anita Mui Yim Fong. "I am considered half a matchmaker for them. For awhile we were very close, almost going out every day and night, night and day. Now I am the most worried about not being able to send him on his final journey, because I will have to go to the Mainland to work on the Chin Kar Lok directed film in two days. I hope Kar Lok Jai would be able to release me then to bid him farewell."

Ng Chun Yu was also asked about the news. He was teary eyed and could not speak. Later he only replied, "Today is a joyous event, I don't want to talk about anything that would upset anyone. Some things still haven't been cleared up yet, just pretend that I haven't received this news!"

Yue Man Lok came straight from the airport. He said that he was "nauseous" from rushing over. Speaking of his MAD WORLD (YUT LIM MO MING) Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor nomination, Lok Jai said that he was a rookie and did not dare to think too much. Then if he won he would be even happier. Speaking of him dating the Taiwan belt king' daughter Sarah Wang. Lok Jai admitted that he liked her for being simple enough.

Lam Ka Tung repeated as the spring banquet planner. He said that each affiliated organization spent two months on the event. This year as usual the Hong Kong Film Award nominees, new directors and new actors were invited. Aside from Tony Leung Ka Fa who was working overseas, most artists were very supportive. Even film company bosses came for "matchmaking".

Comedy actress Lo Fun (originally named Cheung Wai Fun) passed away at age 63 from dermatomyositis caused lung failure. Services began yesterday at the Universal Funeral Parlor. The funeral ceremony will be Buddhist. The remains will be transported to Diamond Hill Crematorium for cremation.

Lo Fun's family including her brother and sister, nephew, niece and family and friends from Shanghai attended. Nephew Cheung Yuk Lun and niece Cheung Yuet Ling spoke to the media. Did Lo Fun's family sing to her on her dead bed. Her niece nodded. "When it was almost time, we sang her favorite LIGHT OF FRIENDSHIP. She waited until we finished the entire song before passing!"

Her niece said that Lo Fun was optimistic and often taught them to never do anything halfway and never give up. Her motto was a happy life. Thus the memorial program also used her motto as the theme. Her niece said, "When she was ill she was always very optimistic, she instead comforted us!"

Lo Fun's altar was decorated in elegant white. Her family chose her life photo for the final photo, and white lilies surrounded it. In the memorial special that was shown, Lo Fun after a performance on the stage said, "Call my name, I am leaving!" Then her song LIGHT OF FRIENDSHIP was played.

Friends in the business sent floral arrangements. They included Eric Tsang Chi Wai, his wife and family, Korean star Lee Kwang-Soo who worked with Lo Fun on two advertising campaigns, Andy Lau Tak Wa, Jackie Chan, Sean Lau Ching Wan, Wong Cho Lam and Leanne Li Yanan, Ng Man Tat, Ray Lui Leung Wai, Sylvia and Betty Lai, Benny Chan Ho Man and his wife, Yuen Qiu and Candy Man Suet Yee. Attendees included Tsang Ch Wai, Bak Leung Gum and his son, Wong Ha Wai, Chui Bo Fung, Mak Chui Han, Betty Lai (Ban Ban), Tsui Siu Ming and his family, Lau Siu Kwan. Tsang Chi Wai after bowing to Lo Fun quietly sat down with his wife and read the memorial program. After 40 minutes he left without accepting any interview.

Bak Leung Gum said that earlier he wanted to ask Lo Fun to work together on a movie, but she said that she was sick over the phone. At first he thought that she was pretending to be sick, later he learned about her misfortune. The director also lost the most suitable actress. Bak Leung Gum broke down. "She was a very good friend. We would always joke around together. I told her that even after she took off her clothes no one would know she was a girl. Although she was loud, she was actually very kind!"

Bob Lam Sing Bun, Don Li Yat Long and Raymond Chiu Wing Hung starred in the film KONG WU SAM SOR (THREE MOB IDIOTS) yesterday held a production start ceremony in Lei Yue Mun. The film's investor Milla Ching Chi Yu said that this was the first shot, the investment was around HK$ 2 million because actor salaries were very expensive.

The lead actors dressed in "VIP on top, showing off below" fashion. In the film the trio originally was Wise Guys but stumbled their way into becoming gigolos. Bob revealed that Don was the happiest as he would have a love scene with Wong Ha Wai. Don said, "Before signing the contract I didn't know that I would have a love scene with Aunt Ha Wai. After I found out I wanted to give the money back to the company, because I would do a love scene with Ha Wai BB for free. In my heart 100 girls can't compare to Aunt Ha Wai." He also joked that he would share with his brothers, Chiu Wing Hung would get the kiss and Bob the bed scene. He would just watch from the bedside. After the photo opportunity, Bob again pushed Don to Aunt Ha Wai and told her to kiss Don. Don pretended to enjoy t. Bob was also lucky in the film as several pseudo models would feel him up. Bob said, "They would miss the important area, the important area is left for the old lady to feel."

Joe Lam Jok yesterday attended his first film production ceremony start. He got shy around Gloria Wong Yung and Yumi Wan Chun Hei. Finally the two girls took him by the shoulder for a photo. Lam Jok revealed that in the film he would guest star as a writer. Was this his first time? Lam Jok joked, "Do you have to call it that?" He said that he was not used to having his hair done. Would he need to be slapped in the film? He said, "I haven't read the script yet, it shouldn't be too difficult. I am not the one doing the slapping. (Does Mommy allow?) She probably wants me to make something of myself, so she isn't afraid of any sacrifice I make. I don't have to worry about her." As for his bottom line, he denied that he said that he would accept nude performance. It would depend on his co-star and a lot of factors. Would the co-star be Louisa Mak Ming Sze? He also said that no one told him that the film would have so many pretty girls. As far as he knew he would not have any intimate interaction with the actresses. "I should've asked. I wouldn't fought for it. (Were you not afraid that your professional attorney image would be affected?) It was just talk." As for salary, he said that talking about money would very easy make people react. Thus he did not talk about money, as he hoped for a chance to develop a little. He also revealed that he was in negotiation for his next film and would make an announcement when the time would be right.

Wong Yung looked thinner. She explained that because she wanted to try a fitness contest so earlier she kept working out. Her weight has dropped to 90 pounds and she dropped a cup size. She had to new underwear. She also revealed that in the film she would not have any scene with Lam Jok. She mainly would seduce Bob and have physical contact with him. "I would touch him all over, (including the important part?) The story didn't require it, but I want to......the important part I am referring to is his face."

The 11th Asian Film Award will take place on March 21st at the Hong Kong Cultural Center. The event yesterday announced that this year's Lifetime Achievement Award recipient will be famous Hong Kong director, producer, screen writer and actor Tsui Hark.

The 67 year old Tsui Hark is a respected director in the Chinese film industry and has won countless awards, including the Hong Kong Film Awards, the Golden Horse Awards and Venice Film Festival award. In his 40 years of film career, he has directed 38 and produced 16 films. Tsui Hark and Shi Nansun in 1984 founded the Film Workshop and served as producers, with classic films like ZU WARRIORS FROM THE MAGIC MOUNTAIN, A BETTER TOMORROW, the CHINESE GHOST STORY film series, THE KILLER, and ONCE UPON A TIME IN CHINA film series.

Adapted from the stage to the silver screen, the Kearen Pang Sau Wai written, directed and starred film 29+1 after being selected to the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival closing film won the Sedona International Film Festival directors' choice Bill Muller Excellence in Screenwriting Award. Pang Sau Wai was very excited. "This project from its birth to now is already 12 years old but has never won any award. Now the award tells me that the story has magic. This film festival's audience was more mature, but they actually really liked it. At the second screening, I saw a older woman in the last row cry. I was very move to see something like this."

[2017.03.01] LIN CHILING JOINS MONKEY KING 3

Filmko's fantasy romantic comedy THE MONKEY KING 3 (SAI YAU GEI: NUI YI GOK) is heating up in production. Aside from Aaron Kwok Fu Sing, Feng Shaofeng and others, many pretty girls will appear in the film. The production is expected to wrap in April for a Lunar New Year's Day release next year.

Earlier this film already announced that Feng Shaofeng, Kwok Fu Sing, Xiao Shenyang and Law Chung Him will continue to play Tang Monk, Sun Wukong, Piggy and Sand Monk, Zhao Liying will play the King of the Women Kingdom. Yesterday many actors were announced like Lin Chiling and Liu Tao.

Aside from pretty people and scenery, the film also added other elements. Kingdom Yuen King Tan and new Mainland comedy star Pan Binlong will join the cast.

The film MONSTER HUNT 2 (JOOK YIU GEI 2) yesterday held an event in Beijing. Director Raman Hui Sing Ngai brought Wuba's new and old friends for a live "Monster Hunt Family" reunion. Announced earlier as a part of the cast, Best Actor Tony Leung Chiu Wai also appeared and caused a stir. Wai Jai revealed that he hsa not made a costume film in a long time. This time the character would have a breakthrough. He admitted that while working on a computer generated film because most of the time he was acting with the air, he was a little not used to it at first.

Since the announcement of Leung Chiu Wai's addition to MONSTER HUNT 2, viewers looked forward to this Best Actor and Wuba's teaming. This would also be Wai Jai's return to costume comedy after 14 years. Yesterday he made a surprise appearance and brought the enthusiasm out of the crowd. As for what character he would play, Wai Jai only revealed that this would be a character that would be different from his past ones. Wai Jai said, "I haven't made a costume film in a very long time. The costume really is very pretty but also rather heavy, so working on action scenes in it is a little tough. During the shoot because most of the time I was acting with the air, at first I was a little not used to it."

At the event, Wai Jai even performed a "wager of the century" with Wuba. Although Wuba lost, he got a gift from Wai Jai -- a big gold yuanbao for Wuba's travel expenses. In addition, the GRANDMASTER Wai Jai even taught Wuba Wing Chun to help Wuba grow. However Wuba's Wing Chun looked more cute than powerful.

Bai Baike after almost two years appeared with Wuba again. Bai Baike shared her joy of reuniting with Wuba. She also admitted that Wuba was really becoming like her son. "My son Yuanbao really likes Wuba. When the first movie was released, after watching the movie he told me that he wanted to adopt Wuba to be his brother. Wuba really is like another son of mine."

Unable to appear in person, Jing Boran sent a video. Bai Baihe also gave Wuba a red scarf as a gift, as she wished Wuba a healthy new year and more and more success. The event happened to take place on Bai Baihe's birthday. Wuba prepared a cake to celebrate with Bai Baike and sang the birthday song with the audience. Fans were also invited to present flowers to Bai Baihe, which made her very happy.

Other new additions to the "Monster Hunt family" included Chris Lee Yuchun and Tony Yang. Lee Yuchun used a special picture frame to interpret emojis, and revealed even more characteristics of her character -- rich, domineering and faithful.

Tony Yang also sent a video as he was unable to attend in person. "This will be my first attempt with live action computer generated production, which will be different from my past movie experience. It will be especially meaningful."

The Anthony Chan Yau directed film HING DAI BAN (BROTHER CLASS) yesterday held a Hong Kong Coliseum press conference. The film will be about the formation and the rise to fame of the band The Wynners. Aside from the five tigers of the Wynners and Nat Chan Pak Cheung, he also got six new actors Tan Yu Tian, Eugene Tang (Ka Lok), Ng Hok Him, Carlos Chan Ka Lok, Lam Yiu Sing and Jonathan Wong Chee Hynn to play their younger selves. Other actors included Chin Siu Ho, Kara Wai Ying Hung and Liu Kai Chi.

Having been away from the director's chair for over 20 years, Chan Yau said that originally he wanted to get a young director to direct. However he felt that the younger generation of directors lacked that nostalgia, he finally decided to direct himself. Returning to directing after so many years, he realized that the equipment is much more advanced.

Alan introduced the young actors and joked that Chan Ka Lok did not look like Pang Kin Sun at all. "He wasn't this handsome, this is outrageous." Kin Jai felt that the cast bore a lot of resemblance. What advice did they have fro the new actors? Alan felt that the most important would be teaching them to respect their teachers, ethics and elders. Was there any subject that was off limits? Alan joked, "Don't worry, the script definitely has to pass our inspection. Anything that can't be shown won't be."

Wai Ying Hung played Ah Lek's Mommy. She said that she cut her hair short for this character. She received a Hong Kong Film Award Best Actress nomination for her work in HAPPINESS (HUNG WON SI NGOR). Was she confident about her performance? She stated that the performance actually was very easy in the film and had no difficulty at all because she was only imitating her Mama. Later she will go to Osaka and Malaysia to attend different award shows.

Dayo Wong Tze Wah and Charmaine Sheh Sze Man yesterday started production on their film DUNG DUK DUT GUNG (STAND UP SPECIAL AGENT). After seven years they worked together again, Tze Wa stated that he had no box office pressure. However Ah Sheh was a "hundred million" female star, he did not want to affect Ah Sheh's "hundred million reputation". They continued their mischievous nature when they met again, first they had a war of words. Tze Wah arrogantly said, "Seven years to you have been short, to me they were very long. You should be happy, you didn't see me in seven years." Ah Sheh replied, "Aren't you happier, you didn't have to pay for dinner for seven years." Tze Wah said, "Today I only brought an empty wallet, haha."

As for intimate scenes in the film, Tze Wah said, "I am very passive, the audience probably wants to see even more passionate scenes. (Do you have any fight scene?) I am under Ah Sheh's employment, I even have to spend all of Ah Sheh's money. (Do you have any romance?) Ah Sheh and I are already a couple as soon as we get together, we don't need to do anything more. (Do you have any intimate scene?) It's not what everyone thinks, we are very profound. We aren't average, the average away to me is not even worth mentioning."

Tze Wah put all of his effort on the script. He revealed that originally the production would have started in January already, but the script just kept being worked on. Now it is already in its tenth draft. Ah Sheh joked that she thought it was only the sixth. Tze Wah said, "I hope to make the script its most 'handsome' and perfect before giving it to Ah Sheh. The story has both something that is very domestic and not. (How not?) I am 007's mentor but I don't have a number. How not would you say that is." Ah Sheh in the film played a high ranking person. Ah She stressed that it was only the performance of a position and had no projection or political elements. She would appear in a new look. Would they have any box office pressure together? Ah Sheh said, "The box office is beyond our control, we have a god class screen writer." Tze Wah said, "I am used to having no box office, so I don't have any pressure at all; but Ah Sheh is a 'hundred million" female star', I can't affect her 'hundred million reputation'. However Ah Sheh has been very lucky, with her even Cha Siu tastes even more delicious. She will shine on all of us."

Venus Wong Man Yik, Edward Ma Chi Wai, Teresa Mak Ka Kei, To Siu Kiu and Chantale Bui Yi Lam two nights ago attended the TO LOVE OR NOT TO LOVE (CHOR LUEN YUT GEI: JIN NAM MUK YAU) advanced screening audience appreciation event in Mongkok in school uniforms. Wai Jai revealed that he and Venus shared a peck in the kiss scene. Venus joked that he got very lucky, after kissing her he got to kiss someone else. Wai Jai said that aside from Venus he also kissed Bui Yi Lam. Which one was better? He said, "It's very hard to say, probably Venus."

Venus said that she and Ma Jai have known each other for a long time, but playing a couple for the first time felt very awkward. During the shoot she was reminded her first love. Has Venus run into any impatient guys in real life? She luckily has not.

Playing a teacher in the film, Mak Ka Kei was asked when she wore a school uniform last. She said, "Two years, the clothes still smell like moth balls." She revealed that in the film because she was Wong Man Yik in romantic trouble so she taught her how to get guys. As a mother she said that the children mature earlier now, so she has already provided sex education to her nine year old son. "Now you can see a lot online, I have to set a foundation for him first. I would rather I tell him then his fellow classmates making things up, so he would know what is sex and who is love. Now it is very popular to tell children to use the condom and not to get anyone pregnant. That is just overkill." She also revealed that her son constantly watched her past work in secret. He would ask her why her costumes were so sexy and tell her not to dress like that anymore. Her daughter would tell her not to wear short dresses and ask if she wore anything underneath. Her daughter said that she could only wear short dresses at home, just like the lady of the house.

Leon Lai Ming yesterday attended the Hong Kong Entertainment Expo press conference as its ambassador. Host Akina Fong Kin Yi praised Leon's outstanding performance last year. He was not satisfied as he said, "The performance wasn't great, I want more improvement." He won the applause of the audience. Leon had many golden quotes in a few minute conversation with the host. Fong Kin Yi said that Leon's fan page already had 330,000 fans in a year, a "god class" performance. Leon said, "I am just an ordinary person. Honestly, if I was god class, I wouldn't have to participate in the Entertainment Expo. Because I am a part of it, I am still in the labor class. So I came to participate. I am a working class person, I still have to work."

Leon humbly said that he was both a singer and movie star, but many people have done better than him. He might come in last and hoped that the audience would support Hong Kong entertainment, because every year the promotional work has been tough and he might not catch the eyes of the audience. Speaking of this year's slogan "Get into the Scene", Leon said, "I think it's very lame, like the words that Community Chest and the TVB Tung Wah charity show would use when I just started. (Doesn't that prove that it is always suitable?) It's not always, if you can't do it in the end it would lose the meaning of always. We have to innovate." Leon hoped everyone would continue to support Hong Kong until a talent will appear and again lead Hong Kong to create even more brilliant performance. Was Leon's tongue twister promotion innovative? Leon said that it had nothing to do with innovation, it was just a promotional gimmick. Leon's early concert theme was penguin, which animal would he choose to describe Hong Kong entertainment? He said, "I have to share this. Because the event stipulated that I have to choose bee, I was thinking what relationship did penguin and bee have. Penguin only needs to answer to 10,000 or so viewers, but I can't possibly change the entire industry. Bee may represent everyone's group planning and team work, but we ultimately are human. Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Carina Lau Ka Ling, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, Shawn Yue Man Lok, Andrew Lau Wai Keung, Fiona Sit Hoi Kei and Chrissie Chau Sau Na last night attended the Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild anniversary dinner and award ceremony. Directors' Guild president Lau Wai Keung said that this year's 32 tables were the most in history, 28 new directors participated in this event.

Last night the Guild presented 7 awards, Best Director went to Stephen Chow Sing Chi for MERMAID (MEI YUN YU) and Derek Tsang Kwok Cheung for SOUL MATE. Best Film went to TRIVISA (SHU DAI JIU FUNG), Best Actor to Gordon Lam Ka Tung, Best Actress to Kara Wai Ying Hung, Best New Actor to Tony Wu Tsz Tung, New Director to Wong Chun and Honorary Award to Michael Hui Koon Man. Lau Wai Keung said that although the film market was poor, he was still glad to see a flood of new comers. They as veterans would also like to pass the torch and help the younger generation. He said that he will communicate more with new comers and joked that then it will be easier to kick them into the club. Would he suggest for actors to take pay cuts to save the market? Lau Wai Keung said, "I have before, for example MAD WORLD (YUT LIM MO MING) only had a HK$ 2 million budget. I asked Yue Man Lok and (Eric) Tsang Chi Wai to help." As for Director Lau's plan this year, he revealed that he will make a costume comedy but was unable to reveal the cast list yet.

Lau Ka Ling said that she has been off since the Lunar New Year. Because later she will work on 3 new film, she will take the time to exercise and get into shape. She said, "One of them will be Tsui Hark's DETECTIVE DEE 3 with Mark Chao and Lin Gengxin." Will she have less time to be with her husband Tony Leung Chiu Wai? Ka Ling said, "He has to pay off his film debts too. He still hasn't finished last year's movies. Now he has to work on MONSTER HUNT 2 and PARIS RAIDERS. Each time he makes a movie he takes a long time. He definitely is very serious."

Best Actress Wai Ying Hung was teary eyed when she accepted the award. She admitted that she only came for the dinner. "I have hidden something inside for 40 years -- no director has ever complimented me before. I have suspected whether I didn't perform well enough, which made me lose self confidence. This award is like all the directors praising me, I got back my self confidence all at once." Siu Hung said that her hands were shaking when she accepted the award and her mind went blank. She said, "Actually I really need praise, even Mommy never praised me before. I minded the most for wanting praise from the directors because they are the leaders of films." Siu Hung also said that her Hong Kong Film Award confidence would not increase because of the award, as they were not the sam thng. Best Actor Lam Ka Tung was just as emotional when he accepted the award. He said that in the past he watched people accept awards from the audience. "Being on the stage only takes a dozen seconds or so, but I have waited in the audience for 30 years. Thank you directors for giving me a chance. I am luckier than Sister Siu Hung. I never received praise from others, I only got yelled at." Ka Tung could not hide his emotions during his interview. He did not dare to think about his Hong Kong Film Award chances. "I am very touched, even when people yelled at me it wasn't out of ill will. Time can prove everything. This award means a lot, I really never thought about it before." Would he give the good news to his recoverng mentor Andy Lau Tak Wa? Ka Tung said that he definitely would because he watched him grow up.

Venus Wong Man Yik and Edward Ma Chi Wai yesterday promoted their new film TO LOVE OR NOT TO LOVE (CHOR LUEN YUT GEI: JIN NAM MUK YAU). Venus said that because her boyfriend Derek Tsang Kwong Cheung was working in the Mainland, he has not had the chance to enjoy her perform. However she hoped that after watching it he would not be too critical of her. At the same time, the event yesterday invited Lee Yun Ting, who cheated on his wife, to be the host. He said that now he is working hard on repairing the relationship with his wife. He did not feel that the movie made fun of him as the "jerk", as he will have to grasp every chance to work.

In the new Wong Man Yik and her co-star had an intimate kiss scene. Was she afraid that her boyfriend would be jealous? She said, "After watching it he will probably feel it wasn't passionate enough. His review doesn't keep in mind who the performer is, as a director he will only focus on how the performance is." Was she afraid that her boyfriend would spare no feeling with his review? Venus said that she was not, instead his review would be very important. "I would accept well meaning criticism. I would also hope that he would tell me in less direct ways. Kara Wai Ying Hung after winning Best Actress with HAPPINESS (HUNG WON SI NGOR) at this year's Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild Thursday again received good news yesterday in Japan. Sister Siu Hung received the 12th Osaka Asian Film Festival's Osaka Asia Star Award, the first female star to receive the honor as she brought proud to her fellow Hong Kong film workers. Taiwan star Joseph Chang Hsiao-Chua and Japanese star Masatoshi Nagase have received the honor in the past.

Sister Siu Hung of course felt happy about her performance career being recognized again. At the same time she said that as a Hong Kong artist, to be able to be recognized for her acting around the world truly was something to be very proud of. "I very passionately love film, when I was younger I wanted to be a star. Luckily the dream came true. At age 16 I began my performance career, in ten years I made over 120 action films. Actually I was already all broken and bruised but I still persisted, because through film I was able to communicate with different people and filled me with self confidence." At the Osaka Asian Film Festival, Sister Siu Hung's film MRS. K was invited to be the opening film. She sad that this was her final action film. "Because my injuries are already preventing me to be able to perform what I considered the most superb action, I will make dramatic films. Last year I made a very meaningful film that I really liked, HAPPINESS. The film was related to the Alzheimer's disease, unfortunately my Mama had this illness and earlier left me. I hoped the general public would be able to care about this illness and have their understanding."
