Shawn Yue Man Lok and Eric Tsang Chi Wai earlier talked about their new film MAD WORLD (YUT LIM MO MING) and its 8 Hong Kong Film Award nominations. The film was about family relationship. Chi Wai played Yue Man Lok's father. Actually this time Chi Wai personally called Lok Jai to ask him to perform. They in order to support new director Wong Chun even worked for zero salary.

Yue Man Lok received his first Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor nomination. He said, "I really am very happy to be nominated, of course Chi Wai called me immediately to notify me. This time the nomination felt very timely, if I took this film five years ago I might not be able to perform it well."

Tsang Chi Wai stated that he thought about not taking the role. "I don't want to make such a heavy film. I want to be happy in my movies, so I always make comedy. I get to laugh too. I felt how hard it was on Lok Jai. On the set he was always mad. In order to get into his character he hid in a room. When he spoke he was never loud." Lok Jai said, "During the shoot I rarely chatted with Chi Wai, because as soon as I did I would be happy again. On the set Chi Wai had hot pot casserole almost everyday. He would bring the food to me like he was visiting me in prison." Would Lok Jai get married if he wins Best Actor? Lok Jai said that he would not.

Mainland star Jelly Lin Yun will receive the 11th Asian Film Award's "Asia Rising Actor Award" for her outstanding achievement and extraordinary breakthrough in Asian film.

Lin Yun last year starred in the Stephen Chow Sing Chi directed MERMAID (MEI YUN YU) and became an overnight sensation. The film's performance was also something to be proud of. Lin Yun's brilliant performance in MERMAID earned her many awards and nominations, including the 11th Asian Film Award and the 36th Hong Kong Film Award Best New Actor nominations and the 12th Chinese American Film Festival Best New Comer Award, the 3th China Australia International Film Festival Best New Comer Award, the 15th New York Asian Film Festival Rising Star Award and the 18th Huading Award's Best New Actor.

This year, Lin Yun again worked with Chow Sing Chi in the Tsui Hark directed film that he produced, JOURNEY TO THE WEST: THE DEMONS STRIKE BACK. It was commercial and critical hit. She will even star in a movie about Genghis Khan, with the Best Foreign Film Oscar award winning French director Jean-Jacques Annaud as its producer, famous Mongolian director Hasi Chaolu, stars William Chan Wai Ting and Hu Jun. In addition, she will star in Disney's first Mainland film.

The Andy Lau Tak Wa produced and starred, Herman Yau Lai To directed film SHOCK WAVE (CHAK DAN JUEN GA) yesterday held a Hong Kong International Film and Television Market press conference. Attending actors included Philip Keung Ho Man, Ron Ng Cheuk Hei, Shek Sau, Babyjohn Choi Hong Yik. Wa Ja was unable to appear since he was recovering from his injuries at home. The actors shared their experience of working with Wa Ja. The director sent well wishes to Wa Jai, wishing that he would be able to run and jump around soon.

The HK$ 180 million SHOCK WAVE had many explosion and gun fight scenes. In one major scene a one to one scale Cross Harbor Tunnel was constructed. The event played the latest production highlight of "how the Cross Harbor Tunnel was built". Yau La To revealed that the most difficult was arranging the traffic in the tunnel. He destroyed the most vehicle in hs career, as 200 cars were destroyed. Speaking of Wa Jai's recovery, Yau Lai To said that several days ago he knew from the newspaper that he has already been released from the hospital. He visited Wa Ja and for now he is not completely healed. Without leaning on anything he was unable to sit up by himself. He wished that he would recover 100% soon! He also wished that he could run and jump around, talk and laugh soon.

Hak Jai, Ng Cheuk Hei, Babyjohn, Shek Sau were asked if they had to take over the promotion for Wa Jai. Hak Jai said, "Basically we will hold down the fort, he can recover in peace. The director visited Wa Jai for us. He has always been an active person, now having to quietly rest probably would be tough. earlier when we shot in the tunnel the condition was poor, but Wa Ja constantly walked in and out. He did everything himself."

Babyjohn said about his role in the film. "I don't want to spoil too much, but I had a challenging scene. When I got the script I was already very nervous. Wa Jai guided me on how to handle ths scene. It really was very shocking." Ng Cheuk He said that when he heard Wa Jai's line, he had goosebumps.

Brother Sau said, "After we learned about Wa Jai's fall from a horse, the entire team was very concerned and often followed his progress. We were worried about anything unexpected. Luckily after a period of treatment he is already resting at home. Wa Jai is very nice. Aside from being focused on making the movie, he was also very concerned with how hard everyone worked. Everyday he treated us to afternoon tea."

Max Zhang Jin's Pegasus Motion Picture INVINCIBLE DRAGON (GAU LUNG BUK BAI) earlier set up a MMA ring display at the Hong Kong International Film and Television Market. In the film Zhang Jin and world class MMA champion Anderson Silva had many close combat. Zhang Jin's face was even up against a pile of push pins. His dragon tattoo look also was unveiled for the first time. Raymond Wong Pak Ming even said that Zhang Jin would be the next kung fu action representative. Stepping into IP MAN's 10th anniversary, the film company will also invest HK$ 400 million on IP MAN 4 and 200 million on IP MAN SERIES: CHEUNG TIN CHI.

Speaking of being nominated for Best actor with his TRIVISA (SHU DAI JIU FUNG) co-star Gordon Lam Ka Tung, he stated that he hoped the other lead actor Jordan Chan Siu Chun would have been nominated as well. "Actually Chan Siu Chun's character might be more exaggerated but we studied it and his was the hardest to play among the three of us. If Siu Chun was nominated it would have been better." Siu Chai also had nothing but praise for Lam Ka Tung. "He could get into character at anytime, I really admire his outstanding acting."

Jackie Chan yesterday appeared in Shanghai for the "Eye of the World, Jackie Chan Treasures" recycled art exhibit opening ceremony. The exhibit will take place until May 20 at the Shanghai World Financial Center. Over 20 Mainland artists spent over 180 days to bring an art heaven from film refuse. Jackie Chan said that in his 20's he lived very extravagantly. Later he saw a little girl using a very small cup of water to wash her face and feet. He was so touched that now protecting the environment came first in everything he did.

The opening ceremony had an eye catching slogan of "redesign, reuse". The dancers wore costumes came from film, and the film production equipment formed launch set up all revealed this exhibit's "happy environmental protection" them.

Jackie Chan said that whether at work or in life he was an "environmental protection star". He not only supported environment protection with his action but also motivated everyone around him to join the cause. The big screen showed Jackie Chan's environmental protection deeds around the world, which led to everyone's applause. Jackie Chan said, "In comparison to action scenes in the film, environmental protection is even harder. From the start people around me didn't understand either. Actually it's just like charity work, environmental protection is not a show. I started with me, from Jackie Chan's Stuntman Association on, little by little, slowly I affected even more people. The strength of one person was very limited, but when everyone did it together, the strength was infinite."

Jackie Chan admitted that in his 20's he once lived a very extravagant life. He said, "Once at a poverty stricken village, I saw a little girl used a very small cup of water to wash her face and feet. I was deeply touched, city people were truly too wasteful. Now the soap that I have used follows me around the world, my slippers go from the flight to the hotel then back to the flight. Environmental protection has already become a habit in my life." He even said that he seemed to have an obsessive compulsive disorder, "When I see the chairs are out of order, I want to fix them."

As for this exhibit, Jackie Chan said, "Film productions sometimes are very unfriendly to the environment. I would store those props and equipment that were used at the warehouse. Later artist friends visited me at the office. I gave them those old props and production equipment. They put their creativity to use and gave these so-called 'trash' a chance to be reused, as they made them into piece after piece of artwork. I thought it was very interesting. I hope through this exhibit for even more people to fall in love with protecting the environment and live happily."

This exhibit is in seven parts. In the first part, you can try direct a film; in the "welcome speech", Big Brother Jackie Chan explains the environmental protection concept through videos; "Jackie's Studio" exclusively unveils Jackie Chan's on set rules and shows variety film waste's original use on the set. You can try to be an actor too and experience a scene with "Jackie Chan". In "Jackie's landfill" you can see some of the already recycled waste as artwork; "Jackie's Special Effect" lets you experience special effects; "Jackie's VIP Hall" brings you through the hall of art and experience film waste in its new life; "Your attitude" lets the audience participate in the delivering the environmental protection message and complete the environmental protection artwork group.

Actors Ai Wai and Rachel Lam Hei Tung two nights ago promotoed their film LA LOL (NGOR LO POR MEI GIT FUN) with a performance on the streets of Causeway Bay. Ai Wai sang and drew a crowd. He said, "Normally I sing, but today I am off. Because I only got off work after 8 this morning, my voice is very hoarse. (Will you enter the music scene?) The oldest new artist award will definitely be mine."

LA two days ago opened at only three cinemas, its box office was even "in crisis". Vampire sightings in Shau Kei Wan? New film VAMPIRE CLEAN UP DEPARTMENT (GAU GEUNG CHING DOH FU) earlier arranged for two "vampires" to promote in the Shau Kei Wan pedestrian subway and a "victim" to be "eaten". In the end not only pretty girls were scared out of their wits, even big men and uncles turned around and ran.

VAMPIRE lead actor Babyjohn Choi Hong Yik said, "I have seen a lot of that before, overseas pedestrians were scared out of their minds. However I never thought about sending people running when I did it. Actually I am sorry to make people mistake that someone was hurt or attacked, but I want to thank those who played along with me and catch vampires together." Finally Babyjohn invited pedestrians to stick fu on the two vampires to subdue them and calmed everyone down.

The film VAMPIRE CLEANUP DEPARTMENT (GAU JEUNG CHING DOH FU)'s actors Lin Ming-Chen, Babyjohn Choi Hong Yik, Susan Shaw Yam Yam, and director Yan Pak Wing yesterday went to an audience appreciation event at a Causeway Bay cinema. The film company even arranged for four "little vampires" to give away memorabilia to the audience.

Sister Yam Yam revealed that when Babyjohn worked on the scene in the water, he spent two days, got sick from being in the water too long and they had to call an ambulance. Lin Ming-Chen broke her leg from the roller skating scene but she kept performing despite the pain. She only took pain killers.

Ming-Chen attended her first audience appreciation event. She felt very surprised because the audience did not know about the actor appearance in advance. She also snag the film theme song to surprise the audience, but because it was Cantonese song she had to practice for several days. In the end she she was still pleased with her own Cantonese. Ming-Chen admitted that she hoped every show would be sold out. Speaking of the actors of big Hong Kong hits would have to wear bikinis, she asked, "Even the guy actors? Then I would wear bikinis with Babyjohn and Brother Siu Ho!"

With a diving certification, Babyjohn said that for the water scene he was all wrinkled and sick. Because he felt unwell, an ambulance was called but in the end he kept shooting without going to the hospital.

Speaking of the good reactions from all three days of audience appreciation event, the high admission rate at each show and Ming-Chen's willingness to wear a bikini for a good box office performance, Babyjohn said that producer Ha Yu promised to give lai see for good box office, which he planned to spend on bikinis. If later the movie will have a chance for overseas film festivals he would wear the swimsuit outside for everyone to enjoy.

The film MAD WORLD (YUT LIM MO MING) last year won the Golden Horse Award Best New Director and Best Supporting Actor. At the time considered the missed nomination gem, Shawn Yue Man was nominated for the Hong Kong Film Award Best Actor. Ths was also his first Hong Kong Film Award nomination in his 17 year career. He said that he was very happy to be nominated, but he gave the credit to the team.

Director Wong Chun, Yue Man Lok yesterday promoted MAD WORLD in Taiwan. Originally Eric Tsang did not plan to Taiwan but he made a sudden appearance. Yesterday he and his daughter Bowie Tsang were speaking at Fo Guang Shan. When he learned that Lok Jai came to Taiwan, Tsang Chi Wai who originally had to fly to Europe for a movie immediately postponed his flight and promoted with him.

Lok Jai at the end of last year admitted his relationship with Sarah Wang on Instagram. He said yesterday, "I didn't admit it, I was forced because I was caught". However he also felt that "since I am 35, it doesn't matter" He graciously answered the media's question about his relationship.

Lok Jai said that in the past he would make 7 or 8 movies a year, he would very easily be trapped in emotions like his MAD WORLD character. Without a channel for release he would easily built up until he exploded. However now he reduced his production rate and was more able to adjust his emotions. Was it because he had more time that he was able to date? He said, "I have only been dating for 3 months, it probably has nothing to do with that."

He only worked on MAD WORLD for 14 days, during which he was on an emotional roller coaster. Would he bring his girlfriend to the movie? He said, "She would watch it when she has time". He instead said that "I won't watch this movie again" as after watching his mood would sink too low.

Chin Wa did not dare to run full force because she was afraid of triggering her asthma. In the end she was not able to finish her goal in her target time. Kingdom Yuen King Tan yesterday worked on a health food commercial in Kwun Tong. She also said that her film THE MONKEY KING 3 (SAI YAU GEI: NUI YI GOK) took up 5 months of her schedule. Thus lately she would stay more in Hong Kong and could not take too many jobs. Her character needed 4 hours of make up before every shoot. She had to lie down like a corpse for the make up artist.

Yuen Jai said that the make up required glue, which led to skin reaction. Yuen Jai said, "(Aaron) Kwok Fu Sing, Law Chung Him also have to spend a long time in make up, so I don't dare to complain. However now when I see glue I am scared. All the wrinkles showed up on the face after the glue. Earlier I went for a blood release therapy for skincare, only then did the skin got better."

The film LOVE OFF THE CUFF (CHUNG GIU GAU JI MING) sold out both of its Hong Kong Film Festival shows in the first 5 minutes of ticket sales. This time the director continued to play with collective memories and Cantonese pop songs. Aside from LEGEND in the earlier trailer, the director added his beloved cartoon characters YATTERMAN into the story. In the film Cherie really liked YATTERMAN but Jimmy never heard of them. This generation gap upset Cherie very much. She could not help but performed at home the YATTERMAN theme song in hopes of awaking Jimmy's memory. Yet in real life Chin Wa was not too familiar with the YATTERMAN song. She too only started to learn it after getting the script. Of course in the end this song was no match for Chin Wa! During rehearsal on the set she already performed the entire song. After the director enjoyed Chin Wa's performance, he even wanted Ah Lok and the crew to dance for Chin Wa. The crew said that they got to listen to a song on the set out of the blue, it was like a Miriam Yeung Chin Wa concert for them.

Two time Golden Horse Best Actress award winner, Taiwan star Li Lihua yesterday reportedly passed away at age 93. With nicknames like "film industry evergreen" and "the original goddess", Li Lihua made around 140 films over 40 years of her film career. Two years ago and last year she received the Golden Horse Award and the Hong Kong Film Award Lifetime Achievement Award respectively.

Yesterday media like the Singapore radio station Capital 95.8FM announced Li Lihua's passing. The station posted on facebook, "Chinese film industry evergreen Li Lihua passed away at age 93. Veteran media person Guan Xuemei confirmed the news for this station." Veteran Hong Kong star Weng Wu wrote on facebook, "Li Lihua today passed away. Sister Siu Mi, have a safe journey!" ,br>
Started in a Chines opera family, Li Lihua's parents were Beijing opera stars Li Guaifang and Zhang Shaoquan. Thus she was able to become famous opera stars Mu Tiefen and Zhang Eyun. In 1940 at age 16 she shocked the world with her film debut THE THREE SMILES (SAM SIU). Since then with BETWEEN TEARS AND SMILES and STORM OVER THE YANG-TSE RIVER she won the 3rd and the 7th Golden Horse Award Best Actress. Fans called her "Superstar", as her career read like Chinese film history.

Jackie Chan worked with Li Lihua at a very young age. In QIN XIANGLIAN he played hre son. This was a very valuable childhood memory and film experience that he cherished, thus two years ago at the Golden Horse Award Jackie Chan went on one knee to present the award to Li Lihua in a touching scene.

The 11th Asian Film Awards took place last night at the Tsim Sha Tsui Cultural center. Before the award ceremony guests walked the red carpet. Guests included Michael Hui Koon Man, Kara Wai Ying Hung, Elaine Jin (Kam Yin Ling), Feng Xiaogang, Fan Bingbing, Lynn Xiong, Jelly Lin Yun, Richie Jen (Yam Yin Chai) and hs wife Tina; Korean representatives included Na Hong-Jin, Moon So-Ri, Kim Tae-Ri; Japanese representatived included Koji Fukada, Tadanobu Asano, Atsuko Maeda and Takara Sakumoto; the Philippines' Charo Santos-Conco; India's Shabana Azmi, Singapore's Fir Rahman; jury president Jia Zhangke, celebrity jury member Karena Lam Ka Yun, Lfetime Achievement Award winner Tsui Hark, Excellence in Asian Cinema award winner Sammi Cheng Sau Man, X Japan's Yoshiki, Kaori Momoi, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, Yoyo Mung Ka Wai, Fiona Sit Hoi Kei, Irene Wan Bik Ha.

When Japanese band X Japan's Yoshiki appeared, fans kept screaming. Yoshiki made a X sign with his arms and did not turn away any fan seeking a photo.

Earlier on a Mainland program the host wished her boyfriend Li Chen to have three children in three years. Li Chen replied "I hope so." Fan Bingbing explained. "He was asked at work. Actually children are gifts from Heaven, it's fate. I don't have any plan to be Mommy, just let it take its natural course. (Do you like children?) Yes!"

Siu Chai entered with his wife Tina, then he was interviewed with Lam Ka Yun. Ka Yun was very happy about praises of what she wore. She joked, "I dress like this when I do the dishes too. (Did you ask your husband about it?) Huh? It's a little better if he doesn't know. (Are you afraid that he would scold you?) No, he wouldn't." Siu Chai said, "Her husband should be happy, having such a pretty wife." Would Siu Chai let his wife be as sexy as Ka Yun? He said, "It's OK, (Would you let your wife dress up for the Hong Kong Film Award?) I don't even have time to prepare for it myself. (You very rarely attend with your wife.) Today I am very nervous." Then he changed the subject and said that he and Ka Yun have not worked together for a long time. Speaking of William So Wing Hong becoming father, Siu Chai said, "I knew a long time ago, but I had to keep it a secret because I didn't know when they wanted to make the announcement. Ultimately today is filled with joy. I will wait for a few days before visiting Hong Jai, because new parents will be very busy. (Would you give him any fatherhood advice?) It's been a dozen years or so, I have already forgotten."

Mung Ka Wai was the host with Cyrus Chow Tsz Kui. Because of the live broadcast the job was much more stressful. Luckily she only needed to speak Cantonese all night, as foreign guests would have official translators.

Ka Wai's husband Dior Cheng Yi Kn played Wind. Recently Michael Tse Tin Wa's Wind costume for THE STORM SHOW 5D musical was unveiled. Who was more handsome as Wind? Ka Wai said, "Tin Wa's is a stage costume, it would be different. (Which one do you like?) Of course the live action version more (referring to Ekin). As an actor he has to try. (Has Ekin seen Tin Wa's costume?) He is working on a movie in Europe, I can't get in touch with hm. (It's very hard for anyone to take Ekin's place?) Of course no one can replace my husband. Actors have to try everything. If I have to play Wind I would give it a try too. (Is it harder for men to grasp long hair?) You can comment on just a music video or photos. You have to look at everything. I will support Tin Wa."

Korean director Na Hong-Jin with THE WAILNG won Best Director. Best Actor and Actress respectively went to HARMONIUM's Japanese star Tadanobu Asano and I AM NOT MADAME BOVARY's Mainland star Fan Bingbing. I AM NOT MADAME BOVARY also won Best Film.

Korean star Kim Tae-Ri with THE HANDMAIDEN won Best Newcomer. Yesterday she attended a press conference. Winning many new actor awards with the film, she admitted that the awards brought her stress. Kim Tae-Ri was happy for her co-star Kim Min-Hee's Berlin Film Festival Best Actress award.

Kim Tae-Ri had many daring sex scenes with Kim Min-Hee in the film. She said that at first when she got the script, she already liked it very much and decided to take the role. How did she cultivate the chemistry during the shoot? Kim Tae-Ri pointed out that before the production began they had table reads and rehearsals. Director Park Chan-Wook would have meetings everyday and discuss that day's shoot for everyone to cultivate chemistry easier. Will she work in the buff again? She said that she will if the story will require it.

Recently Kim Tae-Ri has been working on a new film LITTLE FOREST with Ryun Jun-Yeol. She said, "Although he is young, his life actually is very orderly. His self management is very strict." Has she paid attention to any Hong Kong actor? She said that she really admired Maggie Cheung Man Yuk and was a fan of hers. She really wanted to meet her, but did not dare to think about the chance to work together. Instead she felt that she would have a greater chance to work with Tang Wei because her husband was Korean. She also said that Tang Wei and Kim Min-Hee were her role models, as she hoped to become outstanding actresses like them. She also praised Hong Kong film for its story and style. Even if she did not understand Cantonese she still felt it was funny. She would like a chance to work on a Hong Kong or Mainland film.

"Sing Girl" Jelly Lin Yun with MERMAID (MEI YUN YU) received the 11th Asian Film Award Rising Star of Asia award and the Best Newcomer nomination. Yesterday Lin Yun appeared at the press conference. She said that she was very happy and nervous about getting the award. She said that if she wins another award she would thank director Stephen Chow Sing Chi and her family. She hoped to have a chance to take Sing Yeh to dinner.

Speaking of being caught in Shanghai being close with Sing Yeh, she explained that at the time they attended the press conference together. "We were talking about the movie. I would constantly disturb him, ask him how to play ths movie and give him the script." Will she work with Sing Yeh again? Lin Yun said, "I don't know, it would depend on his mood. (Has Sing Yeh praised you?) Lately he has praised me more and more, it's very strange."

Earlier Lin Yun starred in Best Foreign Film Oscar award winning director Jean-Jacques Annaud produced new film. She said that the film has been completed. The most memorable for her first horseback scene, which felt very exciting. However she was not injured because the team took good care of her. Speaking of her similarities to Shu Qi, Lin Yun said that she was her goddess. She felt very honored to be mentioned in the same breath as her.

When fresh out of the Best Actor and Best Actress Tadanobu Asano and Fan Bingbing were posing for photos backstage, Fan Bingbing taught Tadanobu Asano the kiss pose. However because she held the award up for too long, Bingbing said that her arm was very tired.

Fan Bingbing happily said, "I never thought that I would win. All the nominated actresses were very sharp. Each time was a good film and the competiiton was very fierce. I am very lucky, the award is with me. (Would you give the award to director Feng Xiaogang?) Right, the director just turned 60. I have been thinking about what to give him, this award is perfect for his birthday present. The last time when I won an award in Spain, it was my birthday. Now both awards can be placed at the director's office. At first this film wanted a good lookng actress to play Madame Bovary and brought a lot of controversy, thanks to the director and the cinematographer for insisting on working with me. 12 years ago I worked with the director too and the movie also won an award. At the time it was my first film, I thank him for trusting me."

Will she work with Feng Xiaogang again? "With a good character, potential we will be able to work together again." Will she tell Li Chen the good news right away? She sweetly smiled and said, "I will, I couldn't get a signal inside." Feng Xiaogang said, "This award truly is a great birthday present. Venice Film Festival Best Actor Tadanobu Asano with HARMONIUM won Best Actor. He said backstage, "I feel great! I want to come again next year. Actually this time the character was a little complicated, I needed time to understand it, communicate with the director and have detailed exchanges with my co-stars."

Tadanobu Asano revealed that he will be very busy. He just finished a television series and will soon start work on a film.

Winning his first Best Supporting Actor with TRIVISA (SHU DAI JIU FUNG), Lam Suet was very happy and said that in the past when he saw others won he thought it would be great to win once himself! This time the competition was very strong, he was relaxed and never thought about winning an award. Thus when he was announced he was stunned. His future plan will be working hard on doing this job well.

Lam Suet revealed that earlier when he worked on DUNG DUK DUT GUNG, he turned around and descended the stars when he suddenly got dizzy; because he was fat and clumsy he could not get up even if he wanted to. Finally he was sent to the hospital for treatment; the doctor said that his blood pressure was very high and his heart was bad. He needed medication and observation. Lam Suet sad that 5 years ago the doctor already told him to lose weight, but over 5 years he only gained more. Now he weighs 148 kg and would have to lose at least 30 pounds.

Korean actress Moon Su-Ri with THE HANDMAIDEN won Best Actress. "I was very surprised, I never thought that I would win. I really am so happy that I don't know what to do!"

Tsui Hark received his Lifetime Achievement Award from friend Johnnie To Kei Fung and Bona Film's Yu Dong. To Kei Fung said, "I represent Hong Kong, film fans and film culture to present this award to Tsui Hark, it is my greatest honor!" To Kei Fung said that Tsui Hark was not only "Big Hero Tsui" or "Old Msater", but also "Great Change Tsui" because no one would ever know what he would do. However he did was fatal. For over 40 years his films had endless variety. He believed that his passion for film would not decreased for another 40 years. He praised that no one would be able to surpass Tsui Hark's wuxia world.

Tsui Hark said that the term "Lifetime Achievement" was enormous. Few films that he made pleased him and many could be improved upon, only this way would he be even better at making movies. He wanted to thank people who have worked with him and supported him. Tsui Hark sent his regards to Andy Lau Tak Wa, who was recovering at home, and wished him a speedy recovery.

Cheng Sau Man received the Excellence in Asian Cinema award. Sammi received the award from frequent co-star Siu Chai. Although she has not won Best Actress, her passion for film has not reduced. She humbly said that in comparison to many veteran filmmakers whose determination for film would never waver, she still was far from being "excellent". She shared this award with three people, To Kei Fung, Wai Ka Fai and Lau Tak Wa. All 3 were her film mentors.

Sammi said that film was a dream factory. With you have a dream in your heart, you should not underestimate the dream. Often only people with dreams in the their hearts would be able to make them come true.
