After a round of competition with the top ten candidates, the 25 year old candidate 8 Lisa Tse Ka Yee became the two title champion. She won the crown as well as Miss Photogenic. The first and second runners up were favorite candidate 2 Celine Harto (Chan Ching Yi) and 4 Rosita Kwok Pak Yin, Miss Friendship was 5 Maisie Kwong Mei Suen. The overall results were logical.

Masters of ceremony were Carol Cheng Yui Ling, Mayanne Mak Mei Yan, Lok Ho Ming and Patrick Lam Po Loy. This year's judging standard for the top five included votes from star judges, Miss Hong Kong judging committee and Big Big Fun, then viewers vote for the top three on Big Fun Fun. Due to the novel coronavirus, this year no jewelry company sponsored the Miss Hong Kong pageant. The crown thus had no sponsor as TVB provided it.

Guest performer Pakho Chau sang as 10 candidates appeared in wedding gowns. Then he presented the earlier candidate chosen Miss Friendship to 5 Maisie Kwong and revealed Miss Photogenic to be 8 Lisa Tse.

Ten candidates changed in swimsuits for the question and answer portion. The event also showed the candidates' document photos, most had no eyebrows. This year's swimsuit style had no surprise at all. Successfully losing 20 pounds, 5 Maisie Kwong's confidence grew and grew. Candidates then switched to another swimsuit for the top five announcement. Candidates in the top 5 were 2 Celine Harto, 3 Roxanne Ho, 4 Rosita Kwok, and 8 Lisa Tse. Liza Wang Ming Chuen's pre-race pick 6 Jessica Liu went home empty handed as her boyfriend predicted.

The final five candidates wore evening gowns for the question and answer segment and share their experience. 3 Roxanne Ho and 4 Rosita Kwok even broke down during their speech. 8 Lisa Tse humorously said, "Papa from being I could walk already told me to take part in Miss Hong Kong." When Miss Hong Kong was announced, the camera went to Sisley Choi Si Bui in the audience. She rose 8 fingers and indeed she made the right choice. Lisa Ts who brought everyone a lot of joy all night was announced the winner and cheers erupted. Last year's Miss Hong Kong Carmaney Wong presented the crown to her.

The Taiwan female artist Megan Lai starred GET THE HELL OUT will open on September 3rd. Currently working with Aaron Kwok Fu Sing on the new film DISCONNECT'D in Hong Kong, she took time to promote the film.

Megan Lai has been working in Hong Kong for almost 3 months, during which the pandemic returned. She admitted that she was a little worried that work would be affected, but she still first took care of herself first so everyone would be a little more at ease. While in Hong Kong, she said that she lost 4 kilograms because she had time to exercise and she cooked everyday.

Megan Lai in GET had many action scenes, the production of which indeed was painful beyond description. "We shot it in September last year at its hottest, trapped in a closed conference room that was in ruins without water or electricity. It was already very crazy. We had blood and sweat all over us in a stuffy place while working on a lot of action scenes." She joked that later the team prepared oxygen tanks for the cast. "Because after the action scenes in a closed room we couldn't go outside to take a breath, they were afraid that we couldn't catch our breath. However I tried to rest as much as I could and not to use the oxygen. Instead I made fun of lead actor He Hao-Chen for needing this stuff more than I did!"

Injuries were inevitable for actors during action scenes, Megan Lai was no exception. For her hardest stunt, Megan Lai had to jump off her co-star kneecap, put him in a head scissor, flip and knock him down. She trained for a month just for this stunt and only two second shot. At first she had no confidence at all, but the director "brainwashed" her and said that she was only one among Chinese female stars who would be able to do. Finally she overcame her mental block and completed the shot. Finally she overcame her mental block and completed the shot, after which she thought it looked very cool.

In addition, I'M LIVIN' IT (MAK LO YUN) finally confirmed that the film will open simultaneously in the Mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan on September 17th. Best Actor Kwok Fu Sng after I'M LIVIN' IT again worked on the Soi Cheang Pou Soi produced, Wong Hing Fan directed internet technology battle of wits crime film. Sing Sing went from the down on his luck finance whiz in I'M LIVIN' IT to the IT whiz in DISCCONECT'D. The new film will include Sing Sing's first time co-star Megan Lai, Simon Yam Tat Wa, Gordon Lam Ka Tung, Patrick Tam Yiu Man, Kenny Wong Tak Bun, Kathy Yuen (Tong Yi) and Wiyona Yeung Lau Ching.

Wong Yau Nam and Cecilia So Lai Shan earlier spoke to Hong Kong Open Television and shared their experience from their new film HELL BANK PRESENTS: RUNNING GHOST (MING TUNG NGAN HUNG DUT YEUK: FAN SUN JUNG BA JIN). Because the film included fantasty elements, they both said that during the shoot they were a little frightened. So Lai Shan said, "One set was filled with white candles. When I was waiting for the shoot in that room alone, I would feel the chills!" She felt fortunate to be able to play father and daughter with good actor Ben Yuen Fu Wa, from whom she learned a lot. Yau Nam also praised So Lai Shan for being very attentive. Everyday she would bring a lot of snacks and give them away.

Best Actor Aaron Kwok Fu Sing and director Soi Cheang Pou Soi work together again on the film DISCONNECT'D (DUEN MONG). Sing Sing worked with Megan Lai for the first time and played an IT whiz. The film was shot during the pandemic, the team took every precaution before the production. As for the third wave of the pandemic receding, Sing Sing said, "The return of cinemas is certain good news to film companies and viewers. Everyone can go to the movies. I would also have many new films that I look forward to everyone to be able to watch at the cinema soon."

The new film examined the phenomenon of society's excessive dependence on the internet and spent HK$ 2 million on a high tech office. Sing Sing said, "The film is about online security, this high tech center that is in a tug of war with a business crime organization of course has to be a little more cyber. My favorite part is the entrance of the office is like the gate of a time tunnel. Walking through the time tunnel to work put every actor in character right away."

This year Universal Record would turn Leslie Cheung Kwok Wing's Universal era classics into an all new collection REVISIT. The first plug FOUR SEASONS A BALLOON'S JOURNEY has been planned for a release on what would have been Cheung Kwok Wing's 64th birthday.

Having worked with Gor Gor countless times as early as the Cinepoly era, Leung Wing Chun's feeling was mixed when he learned about the chance to reproduce Gor Gor's classic work. He recalled, "Leslie was fully prepared in the recording studio, usually after 4 or 5 takes it would be very perfect. Some sounds might not be used during the official recording, but actually he already sang very well."

While preparing for REVISIT, Leung Wing Chung in past recordings discovered another unused voice when Cheung Kwok Wing recorded FOUR SEASONS. This time the new version FOUR SEASONS A BALLOON'S JOURNEY would use the unreleased tapes with all new arrangements from Gary Tong Yik Chung. Using many different instruments to represent the four seasons, its intention was to create a sense of release from the world.

Veteran Hong Kong film assistant director Chu Yat Hung earlier passed away at age 86. Director Cheung Kwok Ming yesterday remembered her on social media. He said, "The one in the middle was Chu Yat Hung. We called her 'Sister Eight', a Hong Kong film important figure. We once climbed the Himalayas together. Now she would climb to Heaven alone. See you Sister Eight!"

Chu Yat Hung was an assistant director for almost 60 years. In 1991 she received the Hong Kong Film Award Professional Spirit Award. She was the first Hong Kong film assistant director to receive an award, which Chow Yun Fat presented to her. The "Hong Kong Film Assistant Directors' Guild" last year honored sister Eight for her professional contributions to the film industry, visited her during the Lunar New Year and invited her to record words of encouragement for the Assistant Directors' Guild and assistant directors.

Chu Yat Hung worked in the film industry for almost 60 years, from Cantonese film actor to behind the scenes. She once became sworn sisters with Lee Heung Kam, Yam Bik Yi, Leung So Kam, Lai Kwan Lin, Kam Ying Lun, Hui Hing Hing, Ying Lai Lei and Tam Sin Hung as the "Nine Big Sisters". Chu Yat Hung later went behind the scene and worked as film production assistant and assistant director as she was called "Sister Eight". She was a integral part of Cinema City as she worked countless times with Karl Maka, Raymond Wong Pak Ming, Dean Shek Tin and others. Wong Pak Ming said, "Sister Eight was the assistant director for the HAPPY GHOST film series. She put a lot of effort into taking care of the at the time very mischievous Happy Girls team members. I respected her very much. Sister Eight was the assistant director on many Cinema City films. She truly was the 'assistant director king'. She had quite a history in the film industry. When she was young she was already carrying (Petrina) Fung Bo Bo in a movie." Sister Eight also worked as costume planner on plays like THE MAD PHOENIX (NAM HOI SUP SAM LONG). Her final work was the Raymond To Kwok Wai directed MISS DU SHI NIANG.

Artist Cecilia So Lai Shan in the film HELL BANK PRESENTS: RUNNING GHOST (MING TUNG NGAN HONG DUT YEUK: FAN SUN JUNG BA JIN) played a medium. In the film a childhood accident caused her father's death, she as an adult kept using sorcery to find her late father. So Lai Shan admitted that she was afraid of the dark and ghosts. When abroad she definitely would share a room with someone. The most memorable part of this shoot for her was a morgue that was constructed at a certain studio in Yuen Long. She was so afraid that she did not dare to go to the bathroom. As soon as the cameras were cut she stuck to the director and next to the monitor.

She said, "These scenes would definitely be shot at night and without all the lights. As soon as the cameras were cut I ran to the monitor stand because it was the brightest! The rest of the time I would use a flashlight even when walking around. I didn't dare to go to the bathroom at all. We worked for 5 or 6 hours, everyone was very quiet and didn't dare to speak up. (Did your acting classes in the U.S. earlier come into use?) After making this film I realized I needed classes, but fortunately this film had comedic elements."

Famous director Benny Chan Muk Sing passed away from nasopharnygeal carcinoma on August 23rd at age 58. A Catholic, Director Chan's memorial took place yesterday at St. Benedict's Church in Sha Tin. Funeral would take plave on the morning of September 7th. Director Chan's memorial was attended by many film industry superstars yesterday, including Jackie Chan, Andy Lau Tak Wa, Louis Koo Tin Lok and Donnie Yen Chi Tan. They all gave him an ovation on the final stage of his life. Chan Muk Sing's mentor Johnnie To Kei Fung said that after working together for 39 years, he was the most outstanding one. He was humble, respected his mentors and valued morals, committed and professional.

Director Chan's noble character and outstanding talent won him the respect of many in the industry. Artists who have worked with him before all had nothing but praise. Even though his family wanted to hold a low key funeral, many superstars still attended to bid farewell to Director Chan. Yesterday evening artists came to pay their respect. Jackie Chan waved to the media and rushed inside. Jackie Chan worked with Director Chan on WHO AM I, NEW POLICE STORY, and ROB B HOOD. Koo Tin Lok waved when he arrived to indicate no interview. Lau Tak Wa put his hands together. Director Chan's mentor To Kei Fung and his wife hurried into the hall like others and did not stop for an interview. Others included Emperor boss Albert Yeung Sau Sing, Elaine Lok Yi Ling, director Kwan Shun Fai, Law Wing Cheong, Universe film boss Daneil Lam Siu Ming, Donnie Yen Chi Tan and his wife Cissy Wang, Ken Low Wai Kwong, ECHOES OF THE RAINBOW director Alex Law Kai Yui, Mabel Cheung Yuen Ting, and Albert Lee.

Donnie Yen Chi Tan, Jackie Chan, Albert Yeung Sau Sing after the memorial left with a program. To Sir came out to speak with the media. he said that the atmosphere of the memorial was great. Everyone missed Director Chan very much. When asked what he would miss about him, he got teary eyed and could not speak. He said because it was hard to say so he could not say.

To Sir said that they have known each other for over 40 years, and made movies for 39 years. "In my film career I have worked with many assistant directors, Chan Muk Sing was the most outstanding one." Admitting to his ill temper, To Sir said that it was very rare for him to be able to be his assistant director.

"Whether I was good or bad, he would take his responsibilities to his fullest. Sometimes even I could be helpless with him, because he would use some threatening method and say that if it wasn't deal it would be big trouble. I was then be forced to do it. After his arrangement and positive attitude, I would always feel that he was keep watching over me. Actually he has done a lot that I appreciated. Between 81 and 82, the most memorable was he wanted to join the film industry. He was very passionate and enthusiastic about film. Thus by chance I recommended him to join Cinema City to work on a Leung Po Chih directed film. Leung was very pleased with his performance. At the time I said if I was pleased no one would be displeased. We worked together again in 89 on his directing debut A MOMENT OF ROMANCE (TIN YEUK YAU CHING), so our friendship was built from early collaboration. Over that period he has never asked me for anything, he helped me his whole life. Instead sometime when I ran into trouble I would always ask him for help. Once I rented a funeral parlor for a shoo but suddenly I couldn't shoot it due to a fever. I asked him for help or otherwise I would lose the rent. I just gave him a page of dialogues. The next day he was done. He would never worry anyone."

To Sir also pointed out that Chan Muk Sing respected his mentors. Almost every year he would pay him Lunar New Year visits at his home. He was humble so he won the hearts of every boss. He also was the role model for the next generation. Unfortunately he passed away before age 60. Among all his work, he was uncertain which one was his favorite. He was a film industry talent, with an innate ability, commitment and professional ethics.

As for Mrs. Chan, To Sir said, "I didn't see Mrs. Chan at the memorial, maybe she would be at the second half. I believe she would be very emotional, because despite how difficult the days were she still had to live them. She definitely would be heartbroken. I hope his wife would positively say life since she still would have to take care of their children. Optimistically, one day they will meet again. (Did Chan Muk Sing have any financial problem?) I am not sure, I don't believe there would be any big problem. I never heard about him yell about finances. He probably was someone who knew how to make arrangements." To Sir's secretary helped with this funeral.

Friends who sent floral arrangements in the industry included Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Chan, Sean Lau Ching Wan and Amy Kwok Oi Ming, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa and Real Ting Chi Ko, the Hong Kong Federation of Film Workers, the Hong Kong Stuntman Association, Stanley Tong Kwai Lai, Josie Ho Chiu Yi and Conroy Chan Tsz Chung, Andrew Lau Wai Keung, Chin Kar Lok and Angela Tong Ying Ying, Patrick Yam Yiu Man, Patrick Kong ( Yip Lim Sum) and others.

Due to the pandemic, all attending guests were required to have their temperature check before entering. Out of respect for the family's wishes, the venue and the memorial prohibited photography and media coverage.

Known as the "Voice Over King", famous voice actor Tam Bing Man two nights ago was hospitalized for difficulty of breathing and passed away yesterday morning at age 86. Diagnosed with lung cancer 3 months ago, Bing Gor had electrotherapy and scheduled hospital check ups, but when he was diagnosed it was already terminal stage. His daughter Tam Suk Ying revealed that Papa passed away very peaceful, saying that Papa just renewed his TVB contract and still wanted to finish his work. His wish was to have a birthday party at the end of the year, but it would remain unfulfilled.

Bing Gor in June this year was diagnosed with lung cancer. Although he had electrotherapy, the cancer already reached terminal stage and spread to his bone. Two nights ago due to difficulty of breathing an ambulance rushed him to the hospital, where he passed away this morning. Daughter Tam Suk Ying on social media said that Papa turned down two voice over jobs, as he hoped to be able to return after the pandemic would pass. She said that Papa passed away very peacefully, and she arranged for ceremonial masters to chant scripture at the hospital and prepared for the funeral. Bing Gor did not announce that he had lung cancer. He only said that he had back pain. A friend recommended to him an orthopedics doctor, who diagnosed him with lung cancer that spread to the bones in terminal stage.

Tam Suk Yin left the hospital around noon with friends and family. Papa's passing caught her by surprise as she was not prepared for it at all. At first she said that Bing Gor complained about pain in the bones so she took him to see an orthopedics doctor, who diagnosed him with spreading cancer. After elecrtotherapy his pain was gone but his mobility was drastically reduced. Every week he had to return to the hospital for a follow up visit. Two nights ago he just had his follow up visit, but he was unable to catch his breath at home. An ambulance was called. Around 7 AM the hospital called his daughter to come immediately because Bing Gor's breathing was abnormal. Tam Suk Ying admitted that she has not been able to accept Papa's sudden passing, and wished that Papa would still be able to live for one or two more years.

Bing Gor just renews his TVB contract in May. Tam Suk Ying said that Papa's wish was to be able to continue to work, because his mind was still clear but his mobility was reduced. Tam Suk Ying revealed that Papa was well prepared. She and her friends and family would discuss arrangements for Papa's affairs at home, for now the ceremony would be Buddhist.

As a TVB veteran voice over actors and artist, Tam Bing Man was eulogized by TVB yesterday online. Assistant general manager (artist management and development) who had close contact with Bing Gor, Elaine Lok Yi Ling yesterday heard the news, was deeply saddened and sent her condolences to his family. TVB deeply expressed its regrets would try to assist Bing Gor's family with the funeral and provide suitable assistance.

Many were saddened to hear the news of Bing Gor's passing. A friend of many years, Nancy Sit Ka Yin very lamented four times about the sorrow. She said that she would have contact with Big Gor once a day. "It's very sad, it really is hard to take. I never expected it to be so sudden. Everyday he would send messages to me, to say good morning and good health. We had a lot of encouragement messages." Sister Ka Yin said that months ago she found out the Bing Gor was ill and had to go to the hospital fore check up. He very attentively told her that there would be a few days without a message. He was sorry and would catch up after his hospital release. Sister Ka Ying replied and told Bing Gor to focus on resting up. Although Bing Gor did not send another message, she was in contact with Tam Suk Ying. She never expected for Bing Gor to suddenly pass away yesterday morning. She was very heartbroken because he watched her grow up and they have known each other for decades. Yesterday afternoon Sister Ka Ying continued to work on the radio and praised Bing Gor for his professionalism. His voice over work was particularly outstanding. Even when actors performed poorly, Bing Gor's voice over would make the whole thing better.

Johnnie To Kei Fung recalled as early as the TVB series YESTERDAY'S GLITTER when he began as an assistant director he already knew Bing Gor. In his eyes Bing Gor was a great actor, so he taught him many things and was like a mentor and a friend to him. Ah To said, "When I officially became a director and made movies, occasionally I would invite Bing Gor to perform. Bing Gor always loved to eat, so he would bring me to places to try delicious dishes. Thus we occasionally had contact." As for the passing of Bing Gor, Ah To said, "My condolences to his family, have a safe journey!"

Elena Kong Mei Yee in January appeared on a interview program with Bing Gor. It was also the last time they saw each other. Mei Yee said, "Several months ago Bing Gor and I did an interview, I never expected it would be the last time I saw him. That interview was very pleasant. He liked to be cheerful and really liked to work. In addition he was very smart. Bing Gor's daughter took great care of him. I wished Bing Gor will ascend to Paradise soon. Amitabha."

Famous DJ Che Suk Mui on social media posted, "Bing Gor have a safe journey.....I will always miss you......several months ago I called Bing Gor to book an interview. His voice was frail. He said that two days ago we already recorded it......that's fne, let's book another one later......I didn't think......" Che Suk Mui still remembered years ago Bing Gor suggested to start a broadcast training class with her. At the time participating friends thought it was a scam, as no one expected Tam Bing Man and Che Suk Mui would work together to start a class. They laughed about this for a long time. Che Suk Mui even praised Bing Gor's laughter as extra charming. She asked everyone in the Tam family to take good care of themselves.

Tam Bing Man was an extremely rare artists in "five fields": music, film, television, radio and voice over. In 1969 he joined TVB and played many villains. Among them the most classic series characters were the Kam family young master Kam Chun Tung in YESTERDAY'S GLITTER, Third Uncle in HA JAI DADDY, and David Chow in SONG BIRD. Bing Gor in many films played the elder role. His performance in the film ELECTION (HAK SEH MUI) was the most memorable.

Aside from his popularity on screen, Bing Gor behind the scene worked in voice over for over half a century and was known as the "Voice Over King". Among them his voice over work for the JUSTICE BAO series was popular and deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Passionate about voice over, Bing Gor never talked about retirement. Last year he did voice work on over 20 U.S. series, Japanese series, and animation, playing over 30 characters himself. His final work was the TVB Jade broadcast QING YU NIAN of in March as Zhuang Mohan.

Bing Gor also released over 30 vinyl records, singing classic hits like ZEN TEMPLE BELL, PAST JOY LIKE A DREAM, and FAREWELL REMINDER. In February he even appeared on CANTOPOP AT 50 at the behest of good friend Nancy Sit Ka Ying. Bing Gor in 2014 TVB Voice Over Team awards received the "Lifetime Achievement Award". In the same year at the TVB Award 2014 he received the TVB Lifetime Achievement Award as recognition for his contribution to show business.

Tam Bing Man was in entertainment for half a century. The rumor between him and his best partner Lee Heung Kam was also widely talked about for decades. They became to work together in the 70s and founded an entertainment film company together, producing hit films like THE COUNTRY BUMPKIN IN STYLE and COUNTRY MAN AND THE SCAVENGER. They often went on tour abroad and in the 80s reunited on television. In 1998 they still worked together on a concert.

however, they always called each other good friends because Bing Gor was already married and had a pair of children. Sister Kam in 1950 already married Cantonese Opera star Siu Chung Kun, but soon after giving birth to a daughter they ended up in a divorce. She never married again.

Lee Heung Kam in an interview responded to this rumor. "We aren't dating, but we have feelings since we have worked together for years. Because many events would invite us to attend together, we were seen as a couple." Reportedly, this rumor even once made Bing Soh jealous. Bing Gor years ago was asked on a radio interview years ago whether Bing Soh was jealous if Sister Kam. Bing Gor answered, "I don't know if she does, whether she does or not it has been decades. What is there to be jealous about!"

Due to their age, Bing Gor and Sister Kam's health has not been in ideal condition. Bing Gor a few years ago met with Sister Kam but at the time Sister Kam did not have full mental capacity. In 2017 Bing Gor admitted that he has not visited Sister Kam in a long time. "She is less than mobile, I don't want to disturb her." Reportedly, the 88 year old Sister Kam's hair has turned white. She required a wheel chair and in recent years rarely came out.

At 10:45 PM, the hearse arrived at the Church of St. Benedict. Several dozen workers gathered and pulled up black cloth for privacy. Chan Muk Sing's family first got out, then the crew carried the coffin from the vehicle into the venue. After the ceremony, the crew set up again. Then Chan Muk Sing's son carried his father's photo and walked out of the venue. Family and friends followed and departed.

One of the pallbearers Albert Yeung Sau Sing was rather heartbroken when he left. When asked about Gillian Chung Yun Tung's head injury, he put his hands together and left before answering.

Sammo Hung Kam Bo regretted Chan Muk Sing's passing at such a young age and was very heartbroken. Did he know that Chan was sick? He lamented, "I didn't know he was sick at all, I even asked him to have tea 10 days before his passing over Wechat. 10 days later he passed away. (What was your impression of Chan Muk Sing?) He was a gentleman, Mr. Nice Guy, no one could be better."

Kwok Fu Sing with the Chan Muk Sing directed film DIVERGENCE (SAM CHA HAU) won the Golden Horse Best Actor award. Particularly his white sneakers were constantly kept clean. He said, "I felt that his passing at a still young age. I thank him for making so many good movies for Hong Kong film. Because he passed away at such a young age, I am particularly sad. It's like a old brand, after awhile you would have feeling for it. Now it's like it suddenly quit, or emigrated, it cannot be replaced."

Speaking of not working with Chan Muk Sing again in recent years, did you feel any regret? Ka Fai tearfully answered, "Yes......" His hands were shaking and he was silent for awhile. When asked if they talked about working together again? Ka Fai tearfully nodded and said that he got choked. "If you want to properly remember Benny, you can do it by watching his final film RAGING FIRE (NO FOR)."

Sammi Cheng Sau Man and Charlene Choi Cheuk Yin worked together again on the film FATAL VISIT (SING HOR SAI MAU SAK ONG) after man years. The film will open soon. Earlier they spoke about working together again. Once experienced depression, Cheng Sau Man revealed that because of her personality she took the initiative to be a therapist for Ah Sa.

They worked together again after the 2003 film GOOD TIMES, BED TIMES (LUEN SEUNG NEI DIK CHONG). Sammi said that she watched Ah Sa grow up. "Ah Sa at the time was very young. We would say hit and bye, did you eat? I almost asked if she was off the bottle? Now we would talk about anything and everything. Ultimately she has experience in this business, mature enough to be able to talk abou serious topics. I didn't expect her to be more mature than I imagined and than she looked. Although she was like she had preservatives, when she talked and got along with others she kept other people's feeling in mind. Working with her would be very comfortable."

Ah Sa said that at the time she was still new. Because she was shy she did not have much courage to talk with an elder like Sammi. Now she was more mature and they had friends in common, she had more to talk about. She also praised Sammi as nice. "Sammi isn't just nice at work, I always remember back then when she and I weren't too close, I had some unpleasantness in life. Sammi through our friends sent a text to me. I thought it was great. That moment was very touching and heartwarming."

Did Sammi at the time observe Ah Sa's unhappiness? Ah Sa explained, "It probably came from the news." Sammi said, "I am so much older than Ah Sa, I have more life experience. My personality is like this. I have been depressed, so I would be more sensitive to which person would be happier. At the time maybe I was more tense and unhappy, and I had something that was not resolved yet. I was very willing to share my own experience. I have been there, or perhaps I would give some encouragement. Perhaps because I was someone with experience and my personality I would take the initiative in stuff like this, I wouldn't feel shy or awkward. If I can call her, and she feels she doesn't need it, then that's it. If we can talk then we can talk further, let's see if there's anything we can do."

When asked whether Sammi was able to help her with her problem that time, Ah Sa said, "I felt very warm, at that moment it was helpful emotionally." Sammi joked, "Actually nothing was solved, after the chat it got worse and more troublesome." She also remembered later Ah Sa even brought Ah Gil (Gillian Chung Yun Tung) to her place and again talked about some problems. She joked that she was like a social worker.

Back to the film, Sammi pointed out that this time the character had space and layer that enabled her to give a different performance. The performance was also quite a breakthrough, one that has never been sen in her past romantic films. She was very grateful to the director for trusting her, believing that she would be able to play a very complex character like Ling. She also felt that at this stage her own life experience enriched the credibility of her playing this role. Instead if she played it when she was too young it would be less convincing.

Always focused on her shape, Sammi before the performance deliberately made her fatter and gained 8 to 10 pounds. Rarely had any intimate scenes, Sammi revealed that during the shoot she would be down to her undergarment. For her it was a little daring. Luckily it did not feel awkward and tense because normally when she worked out she would be in a sports bra, only for a second or two it would more daring conceptually. She watched the scene earlier on the big screen. These scenes were cut a little, which she felt was no big deal because love scenes were never this film's focus.

She also revealed that the character was a little heavy, would have her hysterical and dark side. Was she very depressed during the shoot? Sammi said, "I am not obsessed, my character is much more different. Ling's obsession and hatred for love are so strong it was pathological, I am not. In love I don't choose very strong hatred, which would bring great harm and pain." Sammi admitted that he was very confident in her own performance because before hand she had ample time for her to prepare. She said, "When I worked on To Sir's movies I wouldn't know what I have to do until I got to the set. This time for me was a new discovery. Because I made a lot of movies without scripts, this time I saw a very different me."

As for Ah Sa's character it was more relaxed. She said, "Among the three major characters, Yanny was the simplest, the most relaxing one. The performance didn't require a lot of inner drama, and had a sense of easing climax." Some of the film was shot in Canada. Returning to where she grew up for work, Ah Sa still found those days very memorable. However she was the happiest about the union there required a 5 day work week for actors. With 2 days off actors were naturally very comfortable. If Hong Kong could be like this it would be great.

The film I'M LIVIN' IT (MAK LO YUN) in September 17th will open simultaneously in the Mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan. Yesterday a premiere was held for the Aaron Kwok Fu Sing performed theme song GRAY STARDUST music video. Kwok Fu Sing, Miriam Yeung Chin Wa, Cheung Tat Ming, Zeno Koo Ting Hin and director Wong Hing Fan attended. Sing Sing responded to his wife getting swept up into the "Mrs. Heavenly King Training Camp" scandal and hoped those irresponsible rumor spreaders would stop.

After enjoying the music video premiere, Kwok Fu Sing praised Siu Mei for being able to putting the spirit of the film into lyrics in two days. She lived up to the top female Hong Kong lyrics creator. With the I'M LIVIN' IT financial whiz role Sing Sing won the London East Asia International Film Festival Best Actor award. He was also happy to receive the recognition of overseas audience, but playing this character was very difficult spiritually and physically. Originally he already "ditched" the character two years ago after he was done, but earlier when he recorded the theme song in the studio he fell into character again and suffered once more. "During recording my tears never stopped, I couldn't sing. Now I would naturally choke up, tears would roll in my eyes. However the role required me to not shed a single tear, which really was hard to take. I hope the audience would be able to hear the voices of the character and me Kwok Fu Sing!" Chin Wa also agreed that seeing the film footage in the music video, it was like it happened yesterday and led to even more sentiment.

Chin Wa also said that she had the most scenes with Sing Sing and Alex Man Chi Leung. Her scenes especially the last one with Sing Sing were hard to interpret, she credited this group of good co-stars for bringing her into character. Chin Wa joked, "When we worked we would go for ten or twenty hours, but at meals Aaron would hide in the room quietly. I would bring rice rolls and pork bone congee to him. He would use his character's tone to say, 'I am not eating, my character can't be fat'. I was so frightened that I immediately put the food down and ran. I was afraid of taking him out of character and he would have to put his soul back into the role anew!"

Sing Sing admitted that he starved until his stomach hurt, but in order to make the character even more dimensional he could do nothing about hunger. Chin Wa also jokingly praised Sing Sing. When they were not in a scene, she saw Sing Sing still carrying the backpack. She even thought that his assistant was very daring to not properly take care of him. Actually he was in character all the time. Sing Sing joked, "I couldn't put down my baggage, actually the package had nothing of value except several rolls of toilet paper!" Chin Wa sincerely praised him, "Every actor has been very strong, I have to keep alert. In addition a good script is very hard to run into, I have to cherish the opportunity."

I'M LIVIN' IT was about to open, Sing Sing pointed out that under the pandemic people has been starving from the lack of entertainment for a long time. Even when he went out and saw closed cinemas his heart ached. He would like the audience to return to the cinemas anew and watch this movie with a positive message. Of course everyone should take the full precaution against the pandemic before going.

Sing Sing also said that everyone should be tested. "I did it, it was negative! Last week after work I walked in for testing without an appointment. I was in line for less than 5 minutes and it was done. I was very convenient, I felt that everyone should be tested because invisible carrier would be found. The community would recover soon because of that. If we would reach no more additional cases, it would be good for every business, restaurants, entertainment venue could recover and the economy would be revived. Even children would be able to go to class as normal!" Chin Wa said that she already had a novel coronavirus test before citywide testing, but she would still support it and would get tested again.

In addition recent rumors pointed out that some female internet sensations through "Mrs. Heavenly King Training Camp" landed rich husbands. Sing Sing's wife Moka Fang was swept up into the scandal. Sing Sing yesterday protected his wife, "My wife has responded, the reports were untrue. Now the online world is too free, anyone could spread rumors without responsibility. This would make people involved suffer. My wife isn't in show business, at most she was half on screen. She only occasionally would do some print ads. For her it was a type of damage. As her husband I of course would support her, I hope those responsible would stop!"

Cheung Tat Ming with I'M LIVIN' IT won this year's Hong Kong Film Award Best Supporting Actor, but he joked that so far he still has not received the award. "I actually passed by the Hong Kong Film Awards office earlier. I went upstairs and asked, they said that it would have to wait until the program was published. Now the program has already been published!" Was he in a hurry to get the award into his hands? Tat Ming said, "I need it, I want to take a nice picture to give to everyone!" This time I'M LIVIN' IT cast had a lot of fun. Tat Ming of course wanted to make another movie with the original team. Sing Sing and Chin Wa told him to write the screenplay. Sing Sing said that this time he would like to make a comedy. Tat Ming said that he could make YUP FOR YUN (MOVING IN PEOPLE), everyone would definitely have a good time from watching it. However he also asked director Wong Hing Fan to arrange for him to play a romantic character, because he was pretty handsome in person and he asked not to make him look so "worn out"!

Zeno Koo Ting Hin was also very honored to be able to learn from so many elders. When he was not in a scene he would watch the elders perform from the sideline and learn from them, hence he would improve.

A group protested against the film THE LEGEND IS BORN - IP MAN (IP MAN CHIN JUEN)'s executive producer Checkley Sin Kwok Lam, claiming that they purchased several hundred million Hong Kong dollars worth of Sin Kwok Lam's National Arts Entertainment stock and suspected that after National Arts received the money drastically reduced the value of the stocks. They called Sin Kwok Lam a big con man and told him to give them a "refund". They also said that he went into hiding and vanished. Sin Kwok Lam said, "I am at the company everyday, why would I go into hiding? There are too many unreasonable people, everything should be resolved in accordance with the law."

Sin Kwok Lam said that the company earlier had a debt restructuring. He said, "Most of the shareholders agreed to debt restructuring, which was court approved. Everyone can now get cash and stocks. Now when the stock price fell, some people felt it's worthless and asked the company to take back the stock. They called the police and got the mob to collect the debt. The company reorganization was done through procedures, without any misleading or deceptive elements. In fact, I am the company's largest creditor. The annual report is very clear. I have more than 200 million that would have to be converted into stocks. I have a clear conscience, I don't mind being posted since I get a laugh out of it."
